Iv already said I know the PIV is a better tank, but it doesn't mean the T34/76 is garbage or horrible for AI purposes. This makes sense, as the PIV costs more. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's a costly unit that does it's job well, and in no way does it invalidate all allied medium armor. It sure as hell doesn't invalidate enemy infantry. Call in meta is stupid, and the Panther isn't a call in. In: COH2 Balance

No need to be smug. Check the scatter on the weapons, not accuracy when taking infantry into account. P4 has a less scatter. It only has .5 less. It's almost like these units are similar.....could it be they are in the same tier AND are one is slightly better because it costs more? In: COH2 Gameplay

Against Panther, if you manage to flank it with one of them then yes, you have a chance to knock it out, if you don't then it's GG T-34s. Play Soviets and something different than 3v3 at least once and then come and comment about the faction. FYI Panther is pretty decent against infantry. Mounted MG makes wonders. This plus blitz crush. I play Soviets a lot, and I know for a fact you need to support your tanks, but that goes for every faction. And yes the Panther can crush infantry, but you need to use attack to hit infantry, but it also makes the main gun fire and with the reload I'll be damned if I waste any shots. Your continued accusation that I only play one faction has been disproved like a million times, cut it out. The T-34/85 is a tank hunter, in classification. It has high health, a duo of them can easily hunt down a Panther can kill it, or with market target kill larger armor. The argument about German T3 being nullified by the T-34-85's arrival is the exact same argument you could have about the Germans having the Panther non-doctrinal. T-34/85 is about equal to PzIV. Not better. Panther will quickly kill one of them and then run away to safety. Been there, done that. With a bit of luck you can even take them both out. Keep your front armour towards the enemy all the time. "Quickly"? In what universe does the Panther kill a tank by itself "Quickly". Reloads on the Panthers: OH PV: 6.5 OKW PV: 7.5 The T-34/85 is a tank hunter like the Panther (except with better AI). It doesn't even fulfill the same roll at the 76. All a panther needs is greens and maybe a pak or a couple of shreks to support it, and a t34/85 won't be able to kill it, the only thing 85's reliable beat is ost t3 Uh, why are you not supporting your 85's as well? His Panther can't do shit to your infantry, while your 85's can fuck up his armor AND his infantry. In: COH2 Balance
