Because it relies on your opponent sucking ass in order to make an appreciable difference. A unit that costs 100 fuel for Soviets will cost 142 fuel for OKW. To make up the difference you would need to salvage 8 tanks or support weapons. If your enemy is losing that much shit, it's gg anyway. In: Lobby

The KT is clearly superior to both of these heavies and has a gun thats actually reliable. Not really, the only thing it has superior to the IS2 is the main gun and that's it. Yes Relic has repeatably said Soviets are designed around call in's and rely on them, if you haven't picked that up yet well then maybe you should pay attention more. Or do you think a majority of soviet commanders come with call in's just cause'? b. The heaviest armor IS the KT, people love to whine about Axis having better tanks when the reality is just that Axis has more expensive tanks and because cost is directly related to performance it means Axis has the better tanks because they are paying the most for them. Thread: Panzer IV Medium tank - Fastest Build?2 May 2015, 21:35 PM I wouldn't use Luftwaffe to rush because it will A. leave you with no late game armor, and B. no infantry due to lack of manpower. In general Ostheer is discouraged from rushing simply by the fact the Pak40 can normally handle medium armor with support. In: COH2 Gameplay

Did you seriously not read the OP? he's not asking for a nerf to penals he's just asking for them not to be able to throw satchel charges while suppressed, and they shouldn't. I can't tell if this is a troll thread or not. Mirco and Flanking? As opposed to what? Attack moved volks shreck blobs or ober blobs or PF blobs charging into allied MGs and winning? It not enough that OKW has a BASE building on the field to lock down an entire area for most of the game once it's placed. Post a replay of OKW mirco and flanking and prove me wrong. Then we can talk about nerfing penals ANTI BUILDING satchel charges. There was no flanking involved, the dude just charged his penals in, got suppressed, and was then threw satchel charges on his HQ. No unit (including Axis units) should be able to throw grenades while suppressed, or as commash suggested just make it way easier to pin units so they don't get the ability to nade you despite doing everything you were supposed to do. Best if you can catch the first maxim an opponent builds in the game with Sturmpios. At point bank it's just doomed. Welcome to playing the soviets. Both the maxim and 120mm have to deal with this when no other MG or mortar does. The only other thing that suffers in a similar way is the Racketenwerfer IIRC. It's almost like it's a problem unique to wheeled carriages, and not a faction... Also the 120 makes up for it by being able to sprint away with only 1 man which no other mortar can do. If you want to make them a scalable AI unit. But then again with Pfuse, JLI, Falls and Obers whats the point? Keep them how they are is my opinion. If OKW needs AI all it needs do is call in Pfuse if they dont want to be stuck in that doctrine too bad. Nobody want's to get Obers exactly because of the infantry you mentioned. It's pointless to get them when you don't need to pay for Fallsch to get their FG42's or JLI their good Kars and G43 upgrade. Pfuss can sometimes hold the enemy back through shear numbers to, but as said by others before it would be interesting if you had to make a choice between the shrek or an AI upgrade, for instance: Assault AT package: Winter proofing + shrek Assault AI package: Winter proofing + MP44's both 90 munitions, and you can make the MP44 slightly worse than the sturm or pgren one like the conscript PPsH is different than the shock one.
