The large one has as radius the target point (+) the distance it max overshoot, the small one has target (-) the the distance of max undershoot. Now imagine angle with the same center that its value is angle scatter. subtract from the large circle the small one, cut off what is outside the angle and what is left is the scatter area where all shot will land.... You also forgot the OKW Panther who just happens have very powerful vet4 and 5 bonuses. The Comet is a good tank, but the Panther is much more cost efficienty, especially because the Comet performs very unreliable and inconsistent in it's role. I Personally prefer Comet over panther...but they have different roles, one is medium tank the other medium tank/tank hunter... OKW Panther cost more fuel than the comet...and vet 4 and 5 on Panthers comes rather late (if it comes). Comet is superior in the following areas: Smaller size more rear armor war speed comes at veto 0 and is superior to blitz... non doctrinal smoke White Ph. out ranges ATGs and kills them from far Grenade kills ATG from close More LOS Detect invisible Vehicle tracking better R.O.F Better accuracy on the move More AOE Less scatter (generally better at flanking) In: COH2 Balance

Unless you're in a 3v3/4v4 game or on a certain subset of 2v2 map like Camping in the Woods, they aren't used by most players with a modicum of skill. .. I think will have to agree to disagree: 1)If you read the guide for double UKF you will see it rallies in 2 mortars pits, so emplacements are used. Further more the are quite common in 3vs3 and 4vs4 game with engineer commander 2)Adding late game stock counters does not really make emplacements less attractive, it only makes units like Brumbar that see little action more appealing. 3)Having clear stock counters to specific units helps "combined arms" In: COH2 Gameplay

Assault artillery is sector ability that can only be used in enemy sector as preparation for an attack, soften target with arty then advance during smoke so I think it work as intended. Mortar cover can be used both offensively and defensibly. In: COH2 Balance

Panther has better stats and is cheaper: Only Ostheer panther is cheaper, OKW Panther is more expensive. Further more Comet is medium tank that has better AI gun with more ROF ,no doctrinal smoke, non vet warspeed (which better than bltiz), smaller size, faster vet, more rear armor while the Panther is hybrid tank/tank-destroyer with more specialized role. Panther does not have better stat, has better AT stats, but direct comparison can be misleading.. In: COH2 Balance

The ability should be changed so that Valentine comes without recon mode but can be upgraded like the "command vehicle" and thus be limited to 1, with a pop of 8-10. In: COH2 Balance
