Ladies, Gents,
I am a huge advocate for this title with friends and colleagues who game, and I must say I'm disappointed in the sheep cries for the Pershing to return, quite simply folks there are many more options that can fill a gap for a new and interesting strat for American late game.
In my personal life I'm something of a "war tourist" and I will travel to far off locations simply for their historical significance, lucky me that my favorite site is a a 1 and a half hour drive down he A37 from my hometown of Taunton Somerset.
For those who may not know, apart from prestigious museums like Munster (which has been featured on this community forum before) Kubinka and Musée des Blindés, Bovington is the home of some of the rarest and most interesting assets of mobile warfare ever manufactured, or in fact never manufactured.
I will link my album from my latest excursion to Bovington at the bottom of the page but wish to point out that there are units that have not been featured in the COH franchise yet that could fit the bill for a Doctrinal tank with a punch, such as the "Achilles" modified m10 wolverine which mounted the legendary Tiger slapping 17 Pounder on the ludicrously noisy and mobile chassis powered by the classic Detroit Diesel or "screaming Jimmy" as I fondly know them in my experiences in marine engineering.

Moving on,
I think an extremely interesting prospect Relic could venture into with low development cost and feel out for any interest in further expansions of the games armies, would be a commander for the US to call upon support from commonwealth forces (This is where my dual citizenship comes in handy).
The Valentine tank and Ram II were two vehicles manufactured (in co-operation with other NA and UK builders) by the Montreal Locomotive works war effort program, and although the RAM was only used as a command vehicle and the Valentine a popular lend lease to the soviets; the Valentine saw a much more useful adaptation into the "archer" also boasting a 17 Pounder for the commonwealth. So much was the punch of this new adaptation the Gun was mounted in reverse position on the vehicle, this could add a very interesting ability for the TD to shoot and scoot extremely quickly as the "reverse gear" on the Archer was really the forward pinion of the normal Valentine variant. There would be a need to fill the other slots in either of these commander ideas, but it would allow for creativity over the less impressive copy paste ideas some are pushing here.

The few with sharp eyes may recognize (rhyme bomb alert), that the Kangaroo from COH is the Canadian built RAM Kangaroo that so many PIAT squads rode into battle. Want it done right call the Canucks (not the Vancouver ones they suck).
In closing I doubt either idea will see the light of day, but at least I've put my word out.I'm not going to be one of the baying sheep, who call for the Pershing and wait, pacing like Adam West in his study for that moment when red Relic phone may ring.
Here is my IMGUR account as it currently stands with my most recent trip home, Including images from my much beloved West Somerset Railway. Enjoy all and may you demo many Meta Blobs.
