Though what I think I disagree with is locking the MG upgrade once you acquire them. I dont see why they should really lock it. What is the point of getting Obers if other infantry units are going to perform better anyways with their upgrades. MG34 upgrade should be available at the same time as Obers are acquired. Otherwise, what is the point? Guess we will have to see but I doubt Obers will be a pick without their upgrade. They're still somewhat okay without the upgrade and you can start on getting veterancy sooner. I'd rather have them sooner, even if I have to wait for the upgrade. In: COH2 Balance

Idea is you can go stronger Conscripts earlier if you go a pure Con build at the cost of rushing LVs slower, though Soviets can go M5/Quad to compensate, or stall into T4 which means non-mass Conscript builds get stronger at end game tech. This would be appreciated. Mass con builds bleed too much manpower to be viable in large team games. Most of us use a couple for merge, sandbags, occasionally a snare on a diving tank. The 7th man helps the squad not get wiped sometimes (depending on spacing when a Walking Stuka or PWerfer hits) so it's also useful. However, when the tech costs for the Cons exceed the cost of another Penal, then most of us will just get another Penal and put PTRS's on it. In: COH2 Balance

Your calculation only show over nerf if head to head with a panther. 120 will still dominate all other T3 tanks. By reducing damages, it balances out with more chance of axis T3 tank to pen it and drain hp. The same issue with reducing panther armor to allow T3 units to fight it. Why should Churchill concern with panther 1v1? Ukf have enough units to compose an army to support 120 Churchill main gun. should we make shreks 160 damage too, cos heck unit composition. But as you say, the boss have the last say. Those with powers wins and will never go back after publication, there are those who can trademark best spot ever or pat themselves with symbolic 5 fuel 'overperformance' penalty or just 'decent' 240/180/1400 survivability. But i believe in democratic freedom of speech, things may change for better or worse, just because we care. Trump may be president today, who knows what if next year. So your point is that you want to nerf the main gun of a UKF battle tank to match a Shrek (120), except that it will have about 50 less pen than a shrek. What a brilliant idea! Then the balance team could turn around and nerf all of the axis tanks to match the bazooka. I don't know if they could do the less penetration part of the match though, I'm not sure if the bazooka even has 50 pen. In: COH2 Balance

So spam means 2 guards, or do you just make a habit of buying halftracks and losing them? Most of us never want more than one of the halftracks, and we can get it from Tier 3 without the call-in. The shells are up to 9 now but the AOE is tiny. The video wouldn't have looked very different if those were enemy units. I didn't see any direct hits in the video (though hard to tell for some of the units) but when you combine bad AOE with a friendly fire modifier then you will get next to no friendly fire as the OP contends. This has came up in other threads. If a couple of the shells would land in the exact center then at least this would be good for countering howitzers. In: COH2 Bugs

Only worth it if you want multiple squads of dead weight to invest heaps of resources into so they function only slightly below their counterparts instead of dramatically below. Cons are somewhat useful in doctrines like Shock Motor heavy. One or two by the ISU help to protect AT guns and protect against flanks. Their snare is one of my favorites in the game. I don't usually get more than two because they are mostly dead weight like you say. The seventh model helps a little in terms of survival, but nobody will pay the 100/25 to unlock it unless they're doing some kind of con spam in 1v1. If the Soviets are going to have to pay 100/25, it should unlock a SVT upgrade like in airborne. In: COH2 Balance
