Played with it today abit, it feels very UP for its cost. Sure it squad wipes, but its not a beast killer any more, it actually struggles to kill vehicles with that big gun, yay go axis armour! only axis should have OP tank killers.
I've see in it team games unsupported and charging king tigers and panthers >.<. People need to start using it as assault support gun not as a main battle tank.
Sniper can be used in certain cases, takes a lot of micro to keep alive. Best is usually to go with the panzergrenadiers in the 250 halfie they do squad wipe drive bys pretty well and when upgraded with shrecks they kill tanks as well depending on your micro. . 4 assault grenadiers is usually good because you want to bully US squads 2 to 1.
An annoying thing is if you have played Ardennes Assault is that you find the AT gun in T2 which makes sense... but obviously in WFA they decided lets put it in a tier so ppl are forced to tech to it.
The M8A1 needs to be good for all those stupid blobs charging you, because the .50cal hmg can't be bothered to do its god damn job.
and he threatens to drop unless you help(coz hez noob like that), so you help him then lose momentum and lose the match, because you went to help him in his one third of the map and lose the two thirds you fought hard to take.
Nerf nade range because hmg cant handle it? why not just buff suppression and dmg of of the hmg? pinned units can't throw and units losing models will be forced to retreat.
Rather balance the non-doctrinal units so the armies can stand alone without relying on doctrines to counter certain doctrinal and non doctrinal units.
Just fixing the Ostheer teching costs so you can actually get a panther cheaper than say tiger etc. would make these doctrines more usable, methinks i could be wrong...
