I built exactly one Panther the last weeks and that was as OKW (which reached vet 5 btw). That one was actually diving into enemy lines... because that´s what the Panther is supposed to do. You have to use its speed to hunt tanks. I guess not everyone grasps that concept. And it surfived the game. Secondly you still didn´t give any single argument why you think Panthers are fine or why Ostheer doesn´t have to rely on StuGs to be viable. Also improve your English. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Churchill in next patch16 Apr 2017, 14:32 PM StuGs are a crutch that keep Ostheer in the game. The other crutch is support weapons (MG42 and Pak). Take either away from them and the faction collapses entirely. After a straight up Ostheer Panther and/or Panzer IV buff we can talk about adjusting the StuG. In: COH2 Balance

I´ll give you some examples: Hydra Commander Osttruppen call in Relief infantry --> Get Osttruppen for your Osttruppen lost. And of course everyone would use the recon + bomb strike combination. Featured in the Elefant doctrine, yet we don´t need to encourage everyone to have this everywhere, probably even in combination with a Tiger or T-34/85. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Panthers need adjustment10 Apr 2017, 16:22 PM The easiest thing would simply be to copy the OKW Panther stats to the Ost Panther. No different performance versus T-34s or Shermans yet another option to use the Panther as somewhat reliable AI vehicle. After all the Panthers MGs are usually the argument to justify it having less range than other dedicated AT units. Then the MGs should actually perform... which only is the case for the OKW vehicle. Thread: Comet at 20!?! population9 Apr 2017, 18:21 PM I remember that having pop cap issues with Ostheer is very common. How do I remember that so well, you may ask. Well, that´s always the point where I start to spam MG bunkers. Heavy tanks shouldn´t cripple your population in my opinion. Any limits to strategies are hurting the game. Not having the possiblity to field a heavy vehicle and a variety of sufficient support (including other vehicles as well) makes the game boring. Panthers and Comets should remain at the pop they cost atm. In: COH2 Balance

Swarming, getting to the sides and behind Axis tanks and wiping them out. For exactly that reason I don´t get why some people even build the T-34/85. The T-34/76 is way more cost efficient and the 85mm gun still doesn´t offer that much more. Both tanks usually need to flank. Yet you get a lot more T-34/76s for the cost. In: COH2 Balance
