That was a very poorly used Kubel in that situation and the Capture Point had a house just nearby. Most of the time you don't have that situation I don't think it would serve as an example of how to deal with the common 2 Kubelwagon opening that you just can't counter in some maps.
Of course it was well played by him in the Stream but it doesn't mean you can always fight back kubels.
I've been experiencing a lof of bugs regarding movement and retreat orders lately. It will happen in every game I play and it's very annoying. I will list a few examples:
- A Sherman spawns and instead of going where I put the flag spawn he just stays rear my base outside of the map. So I can't count on it to arrive quickly where I wanted. This happens with a lot of units sometimes.
- Units that get out of houses don't react to orders nor they react to queued orders, so they just leave the building and you have to babysit them so they start moving.
- Units not following queued orders and instead being passive.
- Retreting Rear Echelons that don't retreat and when they finally do it they arrive at the base area and they get stuck in the field without reaching the base so you can't give orders anymore to them during the game.
- Pinned units reparing defensive positions (Intended?)
- Major retreating that get's stuck in the middle of nowhere and stops retreating and then he dies.
- Vehicles not reacting to movement orders and because of that they get shot down by Panzerschek or AT Guns.
This have been a big issue for me lately and I'm losing a lot of units because of this. You expect them to follow your queued orders while you're doing something else and when you realise that they aren't doing what you said it's too late.
AM I the only one with this kind of problems? Some of my friends have reported that to me too while playing teamgames so I don't think it's my fault at all.
I really liked that M8 that even wiped a Sturmpioneer squad. I didn't get to use the pathfinders Arty nor the last pack of Paratroopers. Did a bad job with the Stuart though. I got that new bulletin for Paratroopers but coudln't try it yet to see if it really helps.
I only play as USF since I got the DLC because for me they're more fun but since the last patch playing versus OKW is not fun, it's just horrible to play 1v1 because you always play versus the same strat: Double Kublewagon
First time using OKW in 1v1 and I already manage to make the kubelwagon couple work without problems. It's obvious my enemy over extended with the M20 but that wouldn't happen if those were bunkers instead of FLAK and he could have killed my Kubelwagon and the other one too. That's unfair after all.
I'm just an average player and don't know how to use OKW so imagine what can good players do with OKW as their main faction.
Jumbo Sherman armor upgrade for regular Shermans to make them damage sponges? Wouldn't have to be doctrinal, keep their damage around the same, and just buff their armor and health.
If a Sherman reaches Veterancy 1 it could improve it's armour with sandbags, half-tracks, tree logs and concrete like their crews did in WWII to improve their tanks armour versus for example Panzerfaust. It would be a more real way to improve the Sherman's armour ingame.
