I think both tanks are fine... I like AVRE a bit more, because its passive reload ability let me use it more frequently.
With the ST i must retreat from the frontlines to a safe area THEN start to reload manually, so its not just the 50sec lockdown i must wait, but actually all the travel to a safe area and back to the fight. Sometimes i wait twice the time than i wait with an AVRE, despite their reload time is actually the same.
Basically after i fire with an AVRE, i pull it back a little, and by the time i reach a safe area i can head back to the fight. I dont really care with the rest of their stats because i use none of these tanks to counter vehicles, but i always counter infantry blobs and both tanks are perfectly fine in it. |

Brits do not need to blob... 2 Infantry Section with double upgrades are more than enough...
They were always good infantry if someone actually bothered to put them in cover. Thankfully relic implemented a retard-mode ability where you dont have to bother with covers either... enjoy! |

Vikers is bugged and suppression resets once a model is killed
wierd... so if a squad is already suppressed and a member dies, the suppression will be removed from the rest? i have never seen such thing, but ofcourse its still possible... |
Its a 260 MU combo of two abilities make allied blobs punish when they mass-retreat... ofcourse timing it properly is still harder than building that infantry blob...
Tho i wish relic deny this ability on base sectors, just to stop these threads spawning... |
Haha, these ideas are ridiculous imo. Just a wishlist of a bunch of nerfs.
You want to nerf OKW healing and repairing that comes with teching, while USF free units are "fine"?
You want to nerf OKW flame nades, while OKW is the ONLY faction who has no protection against suppression. No oorah, no smoke, no mortar smoke, no free ride on vehicles, nothing..
You want to nerf veterancy5 while most of the units vet5 perform as other factions vet3, or worse..
While on the other hand:
- Never mentioned that the FlakHT has no window of usefulness since the bazooka buff.
- Never mentioned that OKW is the only faction that cannot build any resource caches, while most of the tank prices has been increased for them.
- Never mentioned the only proper non-doctrinal suppression for OKW is the stationary tech building comes with a high price and you can have 1 on the field and it cant be a victory point. MG43 should be doctrinal imo.
- Never mentioned the so called elite infantry, the Obersoldaten has been overnerfed to soak up allied tears. Its a overprice sink for your resources.
- RkW43 is still cant stand on its own legs. What do you think? what would be a result of moving schrecks for Obers for example?! nonsense

- Decrease Pgrens reinf cost
- Buff assault grenediers
- Buff shocktroops, or give them a naked skin that reflects their capabilities after spawning in vacant buildings
- Buff Obers or decrease their price
- Buff JLI... A LOT
And maybe next time instead of adding Rangers for USF, add KCH for the faction that actually needs a proper infantry option. |
