The IS-2 scatter isn't from the drunk driver but the inaccurate 122mm gun that was rushed through production.

This had 2 causes:

1. German tank cannons have better aim system
2. After firing one shot, the IS's gun had to be brought in the initial position in order to be loaded. So the crew losed aim. Then, after loading, the crew had to aim again.

There was a joke:

Rifles cost more then grens.
Grens have a variety of support troops from the get go, rifles are alone.

Pershing costs just as much as tiger.

Tiger gun is better vs infantry then pershing gun, it has greater AoE and fires faster before vet.
Scatter distance is 0.1 better for Pershing, but its not noticable.

They are pretty much equal if Tiger isn't better for AI.

All these are negated by the fragility of grens. They must much more often retreat in order not to be wiped (while having no FRP as USF has) and get more often wiped, every COH school boy knows that. So Compared to Tiger, Pershing is a mp eater BY FAR.

Get a clue about how to remove those BIAS glasses of your red star eyes.

Panther receives exactly the same "indirect nerf".
Nothing changes in the balance of power.

No buffs needed.


Likewise-some people constantly think units are underpowered and in need of buffs, because their intended hard counters hardcounter them.

In all your "nerf Axis" posts, a good number of them describe a real war you carry against Tiger. I think I can say without mistaking that there is no unit in COH2 you hate this much. I guess we can't receive any fair-mindedness from you not even when logic arguments are brought to the table. In present, OH is struggling to resist while fighting against any allied faction, you name it. In the future, Tiger will receive nerfs, while allied TDs are receiving buffs, and Tiger is not in a good place not even in present. On the other hand, what do you know? We will have a slight-improved IS2 because reasons. But, what can we say? It's Katitof we are talking about....

P.S. And that concludes my OH case. I will certainly not play this faction anymore until it will be playable. I see no reasons now, nor in balance preview mode, to pick OH over OKW.

Second P.S. Oh, I am such an "experienced" 1v1 player, especialy with soviets... Played against this guy 3 games in balance patch preview, he is same level as I am (okay maybe a little better) and guess what? Lost a 1v1 as OH against USF, barely lost a 1v1 as OKW vs Soviets, clearly won a 1v1 as Soviets vs OH..... But hey, what does this mean? Nothing, of course...

From all heavies, Tiger suffered the most after Relic declaration of war to old call-in system.
I would like see it buffed somehow but I can't see how. What I know is that Tiger it's not as relevant currently and in most of situations it doesn't really worth building. Maybe this feeling is also created by the fact that OH, as a faction, is quite weak right now and this weakness is even more striking in the balance patch preview. So I think OH late game tools as a whole need some changes in order to compensate its weak early-mid game, or OH as a faction needs some kind of improvement....

222 is underpriced for current stats AF, so just use it in pairs to counter everything except AT guns and dedicated TD lights and 251 is getting a powerful buff too.

Except every fuel drop feels like counting for OH currently more than for other factions. Guards or even riflemen / REs with zooks will simply negate your 222 play and if you build a pair of it, you will invest resources in something that won't survive long in such conditions. Or, if they survive, they will just duck most of the remaining game time. Like I said, in theory things are fine, but actually they just aren't.
