The frustrating part is that i think i am getting unlucky. I started off around rank 2000 and now have dropped to 10000. I feel like i have gotten better during that stretch of defeats too. I became more used to hotkeys, control groups, and paying attention to my units. In: Lobby

Thread: The Problem of Axis in Teamgames17 Aug 2014, 16:22 PM Jump back to quoted post17 Aug 2014, 16:04 PMHitman5 games like that are pretty much broken. you do fairly well even better by the early-mid game then out of nowhere they have like 5+ sherman/t34s/85s etc. even in 2v2 as well. but those teams are well-coordinated. in random team games i find that the opposite occurs. Probably both teams are fairly disorganized and lack communication. But Axis saving grave in these larger modes is their powerful lategame. Just hold out for a little bit then you can start reclaiming lost VPs and points In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: JagdPanzer IV vs SU8517 Aug 2014, 06:41 AM Jump back to quoted post17 Aug 2014, 06:30 AMwongtp a t34/85 provides a turret, anti infantry, mobility and a little more durability on top of its anti tank capabilties. the reason for su85 under utilized is that a good 75% of the time ost/okw will go for elefants and jagdtiger to end them once and for all. the only thing that have a chance to take out these heaviest tanks destroyers are flanking t34/85s and isu152. all that results in a huge waste of resources dumped into teching to t4 and deploying a couple of su85s. once su85 is out of the game, only thing soviets have to slug out with heavy tanks are zis which are easily decrewed by indirect fire, infantry rushes and tiger/KT rounds that 2 shots zis guns quite often. so rather than to face this kind of situation, many will opt for call in tanks and save the cost, rather than t4 for heavy tank counters. allied late game AT need some help, like schrecks long range accuracy nerf so that roving bands of volksgrenadier vagabonds cannot wander the battlefield and alpha-snipe tanks. Yeah I agree about long range nerf. Hard enough to take out those jeavy tanks when you're own tanks are getting decimated by schrecks In: COH2 Balance

Getting a couple of potshots with some schrecks and at guns/armor will make ISU back off. ISU does not have very strong armor. I think it can get killed by 2-3 shots of Kingtiger/Jagdtiger In: COH2 Balance

Those would do the bring the balance more even by having global modifiers affecting the units in need of adjustments for those play mode. what do you think ? hmm i don't think this is a good idea. the best option is to have freedom of choice within a balanced mode. I can only think of a drastic change that could these problems: balance within the game modes themselves. Stats, buildings, resources. etc will have to be individually adjusted for each different game mode. I think this is the best solution but probably not practical since it would probably take a long time to implement In: COH2 Balance
