Tell that to a lone squad sent to do some capturing harassment only to be exploded because they aren't equipped with a minesweeper.
Also, pretty sure even OKW schu mines which are clones of TM-35s shouldn't one hit a full guard squad like seen here which starts at 1:10.
In fact, a blob is probably more effective against mines simply because the sweeper can protect all the models moving together where as squads trying to flank or spread out to attack across an extended front are the most at risk to being exploded. AKA the micro squad is more likely to die outright than unmicroed.
Isn't that the entire point of mines though, to mitigate harassment of flanks/attack of flanks? |
Jagd is a fun unit to fight. You have to "commit" units to killing it but its always doable. The best way is usually to block it with a tank (which will usually also stun it) and then drop an offmap and GG. |
Then we compare it with land matress, calliope.
Land matress is doctrinal. Stuka isn't.
Land matress can be easily countered by stuka.
Land matress is totally RNG dependent with less powerful alpha strike. Stuka isn't.
Calliope is doctrinal. Stuka isn't.
Calliope comes so damn late. Stuka doesn't.
Calliope is RNG dependent with less powerful alpha strike. Stuka isn't.
Calliope can only wipe infantry and kill light armour. Stuka can damage and kill infantries, light vehicle, medium and heavies tank.
Calliope is more expensive than stuka.
None of the rocket artillery, no matter cheaper or more expensive than stuka can kill tanks.
In fact, priest serve for the same propose of being a mobile artillery to clear out heavy fortification just like the stuka. The comparison is valid. Stuka is simply op. Why a sudden decrease in fuel cost( removal of fuel penalty) of stuka while remaining the same performance and every one think it's fine? So I propose all mobile artillery in each faction should cost 33% fuel less.
Stuka is fine. It's amazing against shit kids sitting at 10,000 on the 4v4 ladder but the second you play top 100 players they will dodge it 8/10 times.
I 100% prefer werfer since its not really dodgeable. The only thing the stuka "excels" at is garrison wiping of MG's.
My advice to you is post some replays and hopefully some people can give you some advice on how to improve and get better! |
Lmao, if you watch this game with fog on you can see some blatant maphacking from SoE. |
Its actually one of biggest EU publishers with titles that pretty much everyone heard about, but thanks for care
Beats hot air breathers, who believe their opinion is valid if they repeat it often and loud enough
Your a game balancer for a publisher?! How does that work? |
No need to link me vid.
I'm the guy who does balance similar kind of randomness in games actually.
There is balance, there is immersion, there is what makes sense to happen and what not.
Thing is to gauge how often these most unpleasent things happen and evaluate from there, the cause, frequency and so on.
ISU of old was best example. That thing wiped reliably full health squads, so it was nerfed numerous times.
It still wipes squads, but not nearly as often as it used to. It should do it, because it would look silly for a gun like this not to wipe on perfect score and this is what you're suggesting.
There are only few units able to one shot full health squad, even less if we don't consider squad clumping, but since squads still do clump, this is your cause for the wipes, not the weapons themselves and that should be fixed, not artificial nerfs or counter logical buffs for a problem that can be fixed with squad spacing fixes.
Just because you "work" for some budget-less no-name student indie startup doesn't make you experienced, knowledgeable or relevant in anyway at all. You should watch the video.
PS: I love kids who call themselves "balance designers" and "game developers" because they can open up Unity3D. |
firefly is honestly like really expensive wine
get it like twice in your life, handle it with proper respect and care and enjoy the great taste of demolishing panthers / tigers by using the beautiful combo of normal shells and tulip rockets.
Yeah stick it in that one |
Yeah, emplacement escaping to the warp only to appear near HQ, get repaired and use webway back to the place it was sounds better.
Oh wait emplacements can't move at all and still need some form of defense for they get bonus damage from everything that isn't a rifle.
It already has alien technology, we might as well take it a step further. Still, brace is not an emplacement version of retreat. |
Should retrat cost munition too?
Because this is what brace is for emplacements.
Yeah I can click retreat to stop a mid air sturmtiger shot wiping my squad.. oh wait. |
Brace is a necessary evil, even with what you propose a wehr mortar HT/LeIG will hardcounter every emplacement.
Emplacements are totally fine EXCEPT cancer regiment and royal engineers.. these commanders just make emplacements retarded. |
