Thread: Anti-Building Flame Mortar Support is broken9 Sep 2015, 02:43 AM I just checked a replay of a game that I was in, and it continued dropping throughout the whole timer without line of sight. I swear it has happened many times in other games, too. Which is great considering every time I use it, it does nothing. Even with line of sight, it just fires no shells when I use it. What a slap in the face. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Anti-Building Flame Mortar Support is broken9 Sep 2015, 02:25 AM I hate this stupid ability that lets you click one button and demolish an OKW base structure with zero effort, with no counter whatsoever. It continually rains down fire without line of sight (despite what the description says). It lasts for as long as it takes for the building to get destroyed, and you can't repair the building because, you know, fire is everywhere. Nothing pisses me off more about the British than this. I can handle the AVRE, I can handle Churchill health, I can handle all their other commander abilities. Just remove or fix this crap. Please. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: vickers vs hmg428 Sep 2015, 01:34 AM Stat for stat, it seems like the MG 42 remains the best machine gun in the game. However, I can't help but take a liking to the Vickers. It just may be my favorite MG in the game. The extra range in buildings is extremely helpful. Plus, the firing sound is music to my ears. I don't know the exact stats, but I swear the Vickers gets a ton of kills. It definitely suppresses notably slower than some of the other guns, but man, can it rack up the kill count. Thread: Community effort to create native language option7 Sep 2015, 11:43 AM I have no idea how long creating the option would take, but I just sit on my ass all day because I currently have no job, so I may or may not that many people helping me if Relic permits this. Depends on how long it would take, because I really have no idea what this process would entail (it must be a pain in the ass or Relic would have done it already). At any rate, isn't nigo a community representative? Maybe he could ask Relic about this. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Community effort to create native language option6 Sep 2015, 07:55 AM What I'm talking about is Germans speaking German and Russians speaking Russian, while Americans and Brits continue speaking English regardless of which language you're actually running the game in. Currently this is not feasible because all the voice files for the different languages the game already has are lumped into one .sga file, whereas in the original game, each faction had their own file, so it was easy to swap out which file each faction used. Thread: Community effort to create native language option6 Sep 2015, 02:07 AM Hey all, so I had this idea that maybe Relic would be open some volunteer community members helping create separate .sga files for each faction so that Relic doesn't have to do the grunt work of separating every voice line. That way, we can finally have a native language option! I imagine the reason Relic hasn't done it already is just because of the sheer tedium and time consuming nature of the task, but that can be alleviated with some volunteers. If anyone else is interested along with Relic, of course. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: NEW BOTS ARE BROKEN6 Sep 2015, 02:04 AM I thought it was just me that the AI seemed harder. I used to beat expert basically 100% of the time, and now I can barely keep up with them because the cheats must have gotten ramped up. I can only really handle hard now unless I'm pulling some cheesy strategy on a cheesy map. I know they have always cheated, but it seems way worse now. In: COH2 Balance
