You are not alone.. Relic just cant balance the game. I dont know how they can be so pathetic... They fix one bug but introduce another 3. Insted of slow balance they do shit like double damage on katyusha. Pathfinding is still pretty bad. Some maps are pretty unbalanced and list goes on and on... |
By the time it's out there's not a shortage of stuff that wipes squads.
"Unit preservation is important" does not mean "Units are not supposed to die, ever"
Sure one shooting inf squads even with vet 5. Two shooting tanks.. Well since russian tends to be pretty noobish I suppose they need such OP unity anyway. |
Pathfinding is problematic since beta of CoH2 and it is still not fixed and probably never will. How many times I lost tank not because of my bad play but it starts to rotating when it should go forward etc etc... Some maps are also badly balanced and fixes are slow like hell dunno why. |
Tiger WAS target practice for jacksons. Jackson was specifically made to destroy easily panthers and tigers.
Many people greatly over estimate tigers performance and armor, it wasn't as awesome as holywood movies make it seem.
Seems like your knowledge about WW2 weapons are even worse then your post on this forum. |

Yeah same problem here mate.. game is still broken after som many pathes.. all you see is same noobspammer everywhere since why bother with some strategy.. just spam.. I was first hopeing nes patch will be great.. but its not.. just one big mess.. Are they hiring monkeys in Relic or what??? |

Does anyone actually have any hope left for Relic's balancing?
I like to think of myself a neutral kinda guy, I've been through Coh1 since its birth and saw some strange balance decisions but with CoH2 over the last few months its just been wierd.. best example being the katyusha. Yeah it was slightly under-performing but rather than slightly increasing its damage or lowering scatter, Relic literally just doubled each number they saw and committed it to the build.
Did they not even test it? This has been happening for a while now... katyusha, assault engineers, kubel etc.. constant patches only to revert the change and double some other numbers.. not to mention breaking new things each patch (MG retreat bug this patch which is borderline catastrophic).. they seem completely incompetent nowadays when you compare them to other industry balance teams.
The most healthy thing for the game right now would be to create a private test build for selected players of the community to TEST a patch/get feedback before they release it live.. (This apparently exists but is obviously mishandled and unused)
I have seen countless great players who I used to follow depart the game, along with avid posters on this forum who I enjoyed seeing their posts... a number still remain (Katitof, BartonPL etc) but it is getting to a stage where I am very worried.
What does everyone else think? Are your hopes high for this next 'patch' or are you worried?
Relic just cant get the balance right. I dont know how they test the game but they suck at it big time. Game is out almost two years and balance is still broken. Some say it is better then it was . I say it is not excuse for broken balance. |

LOL.. they are way weaker... as ally you only spam spam spam and you cannot lose.. balance is still broken.. Relic just cant get it right.. still so many abusive units in game |
I usually just surrender. If someone is so desperate for a win that that go 2x sniper + guards + T34/85 or ISU152 (they always use these doctrines for maximum cheese), then I just give them what they want and go on to the next game. It's just such an abusive, tedious, and boring playstyle that I don't bother against it.
Best advice so far. It is just boring abusive strategy which on some maps is just unbeatable unless you are playing against noobs or the enemy player is just too unlucky. |
The IS-2 ( and I guess the USI-152 ) had two-piece-ammunition ( of which it could only carry about 28 ). You basically had to load the weapon twice, to shoot once.
Also, as far as I know, to reload the gun it had to be lowered after every single shot for the loader to do his job; the turret didnt offer enough space for the reload mechanism I believe.
You could only load a fresh shell when the gun was in a certain position, ( which ment you had to take aim again after a reload ) -
I dont think IS-2 was really a Battle tank and more of a Break-through tank.
