Although I think blitzkrieg is only too strong when compared to abilities such as capture mode and "infantry tracking"(no vision bonus anymore)....on a tank destroyer
Typically if you want to kill a tank you get behind it and block pathing or you at nade it, blitzkrieg won't help in either of these situations especially since most Allied weapons bounce from the front anyways
Finally the speed bonus is only 1.3 now they reverted it from 1.5 shortly after they changed it back
I'm fairly certain this is why the COH2 playerbase is smaller than it could be Relic is good at designing unique and interesting games but not so good at explaining how they work to the players, they should work on that
They are good when you get grenades as well b.c whatever units have low hp after the grenade will burn. Only a useful doctrine in 1v1 really though b/c they are good at map control not at being cost effective. Nades are better than the bars for the cost
Is the stuart that good? It only has 320 HP and will die to any combination of 3 shrek and puma hits. AA halftracks are better vs volks and the Stuart can't just yolo in and try to kill the Puma especially now that stun isn't that good. The stuart is also quite bad vs ostheer.
Edit: Puma does 50% more dps than the stuart has more range and has 80 more HP
Most of the time people just go captain b/c they need AT guns
1. It allows for Relic to give exclusive press releases to gaming news sites and magazines, creating more publicity for the game that way by saving their content to get it out there to a broader audience(one not already associated with COH2)
2. It allows them to test and develop things at their own pace and later present these developements how they want them to be seen. It will remove criticism of some questionable decisions on unfinished ideas and designs
Still this doesn't necessarily make it a good policy it has its negatives as well and as far as im aware Noun didn't like the NDA either
Whoever wins the initial fights in the city is at a massive advantage over the other team considering there are basically no other contested resources to fight over
Its a terrible design Basically a 1 choke point map
I would recommend not getting T4, and simply waiting for t34 85s, Instead of 1 SU 85 and 2 t3485s you could have 4 T3485s for approximatley the same price.
From a unit composition standpoint you will have a great advantage as you will be able to eliminate any stray unit and completely surround and destroy them be it the Pak, P4, or tiger assuming you can micro the 85s well enough to avoid pak fire and block his tanks from escaping. This should give you good map control and stop the bleed as you will be able to punish him greatly if he is agressive with his units
you're joking right? ...right? Please tell me you are. These are in no way shape or form counters to it. The scott would be obliterated in a second and the pack howitzer is outranged and meant for infantry and...I'm not even sure what its purpose is.
This unit is the most broken, idiotic thing in this game. It is worse than the ISU by far. It violates the truesight system and other game mechanics that this game is founded upon. At least the ISU doesn't do that. It is so idiotic it honestly boggles my mind.
That was in fact sarcasm, USF indirect fire is pretty lackluster though indirect fire should be a soft counter to this unit
Additionally Pack howitzer has the highest penetration of any USF unit once its vet 2 (300) so if it had the range it would probably be reasonably effective vs the Jag
