If you're trying to out flank and dive a scott, there will be a jackson there to stop you. Your target then becomes the jackson, not the scott. If you're able to get off 3 shots through smoke canister while not risking losses from the jackson I'd be impressed. So impressed that I'd say it was probably the USF players fault, or the unit got caught pathing or something. You simply don't have enough time to all in like that with the threat of snares and jacksons and skill smoke, as i'm sure everyone loves to experience vs ostheer. So much true that I wonder why USF isn't top1 pick during tournament. Hell their late game is completely OP by your description. In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: Feedback for Commander Revamppatch20 Sep 2018, 07:18 AM -Stormtroopers are now equipped with smoke grenades and a special incendiary grenade; the incendiary grenade is similar to the Volksgrenadier incendiary grenade, but does additional damage to caches. Grenades do not share a cooldown. -Camouflage now matches those used by commandos. -Bundle Grenade removed. Aren't we ending with all Axis infantry doesn't have share cooldown with their grenades and all allied infantry does have? In: Lobby

I can't get why a vehicle that provides no AT in a commander with no techless AT can't be left as call in, and why it was even locked beyond its actual tier. Panzer IV's are too squishy vs double jacksons, especially in team games. Riflemen screening with snares to nail your tanks and supporting infantry gets annihilated by the double scotts. Panthers have too low rate of fire to do any meaning damage and will get nailed by the kiting jacksons. The combo is very very potent, but only seen in really late game stages. I believe there was once a same kind of strat, but the double scotts were replaced by paratroopers with double lmgs and you had multiple jacksons behind the blob and supported by p47 galore. Same sort of melt all strat. I'm talking about 1vs1 Dual Scott cost 160 fuel and 20 popcast, that's one Jackson less on the field. I repeat myself but the solution is overwhelming him with armor. And of course you're not sending your panther and panzer alone, you have your own infantry to provide support, scouting and AI damage. The real problem with Scott is that the unit is cheap enough to be quickly replaced and don't really care about infantry vet to deal damage. Vet0 Scott is going to hurt you the same way and grind its own vet vs vet0 or vet3 grens. In: Ostheer Strategies

Flank with your tanks, Pz4 aren't the best for that but one Pz4 and one Panther can do it. Often you'll pass through his defense because having two Scott means having a difficite in anti tank area. If you build it you delay your anti-tank tools, but in return you get a very powerful anti-infantry light vehicle. Which you don't need anymore so early. 4xgren + 1 or 2 Mg42 is the standard now, not rushing T2 to get your pak or 222 early enough to counter allied light vehicle. It is not rocket science to understand that the 251flamer hasn't been nerfed the moment all other lights were and then is now in a good position to dominate when it hit the field. Just to remember AAHT have seen its dps cut in half a year ago or so for no real reason. In: COH2 Balance

At the moment you build your T3, what you need is a light tank, not a Half-track. + Using it with Penal/guards as a reinforcing platform is too expensive in term of Manpower to keep map presence. When you build your T3, you need a unit able to deal damage with little Manpower cost, so it is better to have a T70 to control your flank than a mass of Guards/Penal on the line. But yeah, it was buffed pretty considerably. Agreed with that but since Relic decided to move on changing the Stug-e rather than USF tiering, we have to considere as a matter of fact that USF tiering as stupid as it is in this new meta (all faction perform more/less similarly at any stage of the game) isn't going to be updated anymore. So the problem, from a realistic point of view, is the Stug-e and the solution can only come from here. In: Lobby
