The only way to do so is with Soviet T1 start clowncar/Penal rush inside the Ostheer base and throw satchel at it. How many satchel does it requires to destroy it and has the Soviet enough munition to do it. Last but not least, the squad has to survive inside enemy base until its destruction... In: COH2 Balance

This is why my main push is just reducing the cost more than adjusting its performance. It really is a good tank, and IMO should either be a stock unit or at least in more doctrines. As a major tier unit, it is a great option for responding to heavy T3 Ostheer play or an OKW player with heavy mech truck builds and/or P4 spam. However, anything the M10 can do the Jackson can do better EXCEPT be built in numbers/be expendable. I think as it stands, a 90 fuel tank isn't expendable for a USF player that's unlocked major. I agree that Armor company has issues greater than Elite Crews and Bulldozer Sherman. I think the notion that they're looking at making Elite Crews a passive is worthwhile though. I'm pretty sure nobody who want to change the current M10 actually tested it extensively as I did. The argument Whatever the M10 can do the M36 can do better is stupid, M26 cost 50 fuel more hopefully it performs better. But 50 fuel is a thing sometime you can't afford and the M10 does the job just perfectly vs Pz4. Two M10 cost 100 fuel less than two Jacksons, I mean you can have 3 M10 for 2 Jacksons fuel wise... M10 price allows you to play Light vehicles and not being left behind fuel wise for the Medium rush. Bulldozer is fixed, good. Now Elite crew need to be looked and AE are still useless. Elite crew as a passive could be great. AE, honestly make it CP1 or CP2 but a true performing unit. Or 300mp and as good as Assault Grenadiers that are waaay better atm. In: Lobby

Or if you decided to go T2, a Pak can do wonder. There are maps where certain type of unit are almost mandatory, deal with it I'd say About the map, HMGs can be flanked because the map is quite large, here again a mortar with smoke around the center of the map can help you a lot. Believe it or not but the Actual M10 is good enough to keep medium from pushing. I have been using it for a while, People complain about Scott backed by Jackson. But Scott backed by M10 also works great for 50 fuel less (and you get your second scott faster.) You can also get 1xM10 and 1xJackson and use them effectively. Imo in the doctrine, the M10 isn't in a bad spot, it was the Bulldozer, Elite crew and AE that hurt a lot. Bulldozer seems to be good now but Elite crew is still bad. In: Lobby

If that is the best option to counter a scott then there is a problem with the unit, not "asymmetric design XD". Man, if you compare Scott splash damage with the Brumbar, of course we're never going to understand each other... Scott shell need to hit models to kill them unlike the Brumbar. Other than that, a Pzshreck squad is enough to force back any USF vehicle even if they are AI specialist for a time. Now Pzshreck in support of a pair of Pz4 (with the rest of the player army) have all their chance vs a Jackson and Scott (with the rest of the player army as well). That's what is called balance. The HE rounds feel rather gimmicky and seem about as appropriate for the unit as the airburst shells were on the Elefant. Completely aggree with your statement but not with your solution. We may see M10 being spam as hell for that price like the Su-76 at his shiny time. Imo, a weaker M10 should be available after two tiers unlock and be individually upgradable to match/improve their current stats. So when the first M10 hit the field it is not an insta hard-counter for every mediums, leaving room for the Axis player. And the upgrade becomes mandatory to keep it relevant but also to prevent spamming them. In: Lobby

For that reason, I actually like it a lot better in its current live state than the E8. Rifle company is also 90% garbage but even without that consideration, I'd still take the 76mm over the E8 any day. I never understood why they didn't put the Ez8 instead of 76. But Rifle company isn't lacklust, just overshadowed by recon company. Cluster bomb >>> WP barrage while having a similar price and a bit longer time to drop.
