Thread: Walking Stuka17 Jul 2014, 19:08 PM When I started this thread, I expected the majority of players to agree that an artillery unit that has the killing power of roughly 3 panzerwerfers was clearly overpowered. I shouldn't be surprised. German pop is 80% on a regular basis, so why wouldn't the demographic of forum posters be the same? "stop blobbing"? in team games, maps are focused around several choke points in and around fuel/vp nodes. Stukas routinely instagib squads at these spots (even when you aren't blobbing) and one-shot even the strongest garrison buildings. Silly me In: COH2 Balance

More impressive is a muni cache or two and Luftwaffe Supply, which quickly swamps an OKW player in more fuel than they could have ever dreamed of. No penalty involved for picking up boxes, so your munitions expenditure not only nets healthy fuel income but also could arguably be said to be getting an extra half's worth out of it going to an KW player Alternatives for synergy include the ability to go for the already dodgy elite troops and slap it onto some of those infantry packing 5 levels of vet. You'll often get them three or foul levels from just one pop of the ability- and it can help keep their Vehicles very, very efficient at what they do. Early game vetted Kubelwagens are great. Well worth 25 fuel except luftwaffe supply fuel boxes cost 200 manpower In: COH2 Balance

Lend-Lease commander's supply drop11 Jul 2014, 21:48 PM So I've been using this commander again for the first time since WFA was released One of its abilities is a supply drop that always comes in from the enemy's side of the map, flies over their home bases, and drops fuel in your home base territory To be fair the description says it is weak against AA fire, but it gets destroyed every time you call it in if your enemy has an OKW player (and they always do) I would be ok with flak trucks or pioneer-built AA guns taking it out, but the free base AA making this ability completely useless seems to be an oversight ;( It's not a huge deal, but I figured some of you german players would approve buffing a commander that doesn't have an ISU or IS2 In: COH2 Gameplay
