Is there any way to tell which faction was picked first?
Faction pick and counter faction pick would be interesting to know, particularly on specific maps.
from my observations it was mostly trying to pick soviets as allies and counterpick with ostheer. if soviets didnt get picked OKW was the go to faction as axis. some excetpions due maps ofc |

That depends on weapon you go up against.
Rifles can't down a model in a single volley.
Cons can, but they are shit at their rifles, so they likely won't.
Cons, pfussies and 5 man tommies are the only squads that actually can snipe model with initial volley, but odds are hilariously low for that.
maybe im unlucky then, from my subjective experience it happends quite often to lose a gren model after 1-2volleys, more likely than with 5+ squads. but math cant be wrong i guess |
On per model basis they have higher survivability then rifles.
They happen to cost slightly more then rifles on per model basis.
Math checks out.
i dont know shit abou maths, but since models get aimed randomly, wouldnt mean that its more likely to drop a model in one volley (for example) due the chances to hit the same model are 1/4 for grens instead of 1/5, 1/6? |
Personally, I dont 1vs1 OKW anymore because I feel like I dont have the right units to hold ground on my own. Also because I rarely play alone. Used to get quick luchs when playing against maxim spam though.
Maxims into double guards nullifys the luchs by alot from experience, even a single guard does heavy damage against it.
Its just a very Bad matchup for okw |

How i defeated no-skill abuser with 1 VP.
1 of my best games i played with double guards. Best because i defeated abuser with 1 VP left. Replay of it was broken. I so wanted to upload it and watch myself.
When i got to 1 VP that fag had like 300 VP. All his playstyle is an abuse
1. He started by abusing double mg and extra squad on feymonville.
2. Then abuse of 444 which killed my sniper
3. Then when he saw GM he realised i can have mediums a lot later than he can. He started to spam mediums- i killed like 7-9 of ostwinds and p4s - but the cloak was tickin that was his filthy goal - overwhelm with mediums that i dont have or win on VP.
4. Last when his army was wiped and some of basebuildings destroyed. He started to play even more meanly.
He started to send shit to the vp-pointS just to get this last VP.
At last moment he send grens+flamer pios to VP point and lone vet3 guard squad wiped both of them. That was the end of this abnoxious abuser.
I dislike extra squad abusers, low tech abusers (like t1 t2 into stuge into tiger), sniper abusers. I sometimes see players with skill but ussualy my oponents try to win with abuse not skill.

Very cool post thanks. Ive read several times that allies is stronger than axis in general. This information backs that statement up(at least for the top players). OKW seems to have benefited strongly from the supposed vet fix, but dropped afterwards (last graph) anyone has theories why?
Take it with a grain of salt. You cant pick okw against soviets since they have huge issues (mostly maxims) against them, that's why ostheer got picked alot because the can counter the maxim cheese more likely. |
