He is accusing Jaigen in having double standards in order to make his opinion to look less important and invalidate point that other OKW AT options are bad, so his own opinion (something should be done with volksschrek) would look more solid and unopposed. Then two factions were added to the mix and suddenly vanila faction teching, which previously was fine, became too expensive (or too weak for cost), which lead to call-in meta. I'd say that it is new factions that should be tweaked, not the old ones. In: COH2 Gameplay

MGs nerfed due to previous spamming of them. On map arty firing quite slowly. Mines not giving suppression. On the other hand, off maps like incendiary barrage, fear prop, stuka strafe should all be good Vs blobs, combined with other units attacking the blob ofc. Demos could be decisive. Off maps could be good vs blobs if there were no forward retreat points. It is just isn't THAT punishing to mass retreat, because you're back into game in 30 seconds. The worst thing can happen is you lose AT gun that is left on the field, unless, of course, you playing OKW. It is getting even worse on 4v4 maps, where path to base and then back to the frontline is exceptionaly long for vanila factions. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also I've found out that Incendiary round is a great tool of blob control and good source of damage. It can insta kill up to three models (depends on density of enemy ranks). In: Ostheer Strategies
