Alays nice to see a new strategy like this added to the site.
I went up against a similar strategy recently and beat it using KV-8s. It was interesting, though. I might give it a try though I'm not overly familiar with the Ostruppen. How do they stack up compared to Soviet Irregulars (whom I find quite useless)? |
It'll be changed/nerfed. I'd almost put money on it. |
Considering how good and versatile the American Riflemen are in the early game without this commandeer, having them be vet 2 is the real strength of it. It is very strong. |
1 MG burst equals 3 kills? I'm glad you don't have your way! |
I don't think it's mid or late game people have trouble with blobbing, it's blobbing in the early game when you have limited options to deal with it. Or I could be wrong in that. |
The KV-8 is still ridiculously good at sending infantry squads running for the hills, then burning them to a crisp as they run for said ridges.
I just toasted a Wehrmacht army with two of them. He didn't have any AT, though, and got an Elefant too late, but they're still very effective beasts. I'm going to still hate facing them as an Axis player. |
I like all the changes, except the slight 120mm nerf. Only because I love using the 120mm, haha. |
I already play CoH2 on my 50" TV. |
The M3 can get really chewed up by Sturmpioneers now. |
Ugh, vanilla Riflemen are hard enough to beat (even with Elite Troops doctrine and vetting up to 3) with Grenadiers, can't imagine them off the bat with veterancy. |
