I don't think that's possible. Mobile defense has been meta for a while now while Ost has had it's insta-kill tellers.
And are more people are gonna use the Puma just because they need to 20hp more of damage to a standstill vehicle when it hits tellers? Is that really asking so much that people are going to make doctrine choices based on that?
Sure. You need to have something to finish it off. It's common to try to sneak a teller deep in enemy territory where they wont think to sweep. Sovs usually get flamers on the first engi to keep up presence and skip the sweeper until later. The instant that the t-70 hits that teller ost will pop a puma. Better than trying to throw all your grens onto one side of the map, let alone bring a pak up. |
Please explain specifically how they will be too weak if the teller reduces a t70 to 20hp. Possibly with an immobilized engine (for all lights as Armadillo suggested)
Because literally every serious player will go for a puma in 1v1, even more than they already do. |
So when i try to get this 'formula' into my Excel it doens't add up. I took the values from the HTML file and came to this:
Near DPS OKW Sturmpioneer with STG44
accuracy*damage*(1+reload frequency) * (1+burst duration * rate of fire)
/
(ReadyAim + ReloadDuration - FireAim - Cooldown) + (1+reload frequency)* (Wind up+Wind down+FireAim+Cooldown+Burst duration)
0.621 * 5 * (1+5,5 = 6,5) * (1+ 0.875 * 10 = 18.75) = 378.422
/
(0,04 + 3,15 – 0,04 – 0,75 = 2.4) + (1 + 5,5 = 6.5) * (0 + 0 + 0,04 + 0,75 + 1,375 = 2.165) = 19.269
=
19.639
Only, the result (according to the HTML file) should be: 16.034, am I missing something here?
Not rounding times to nearest 0.125, nor am I rounding to to the last full number for burst duration * rate of fire. I guess I probably should start using an averaged amount of bullets for results that are more in line with ingame performance, it changes the stg44 numbers quite a lot because of how the burst numbers for it are set up.
Maybe This? Your cooldown was wrong, I ran the numbers and got about 18. Closer to the real number atleast. That post is two years old, he might have optimized the equation on the site more. |
You don't need to explain anything, you have no point. Somehow sending a sweeper around with your infantry is too hard, but keeping a sweeper on pace with a light ****ing tank is totally practical? No, it isn't.
Can someone explain what would be so unfair to Ost if it did 380 damage instead of 400? A stolen ptrs could even finish of that tank. In other words, it would require you to have something else in the area to actually kill it. Sound familiar? It should, because the old demo required vision for you to get the wipe (or a hell of a lot of luck)....
Comparing it to the demo is a joke, not even in the same league.
Yes, it is completely practical to sweep for one light tank compared to all 6 of your infantry squads at the same time. If you can't keep a sweeper up with your light tank then you are overextending, mines are designed to punish that. Deleting random infantry squads has no counter besides blobbing on a sweeper. Not good for gameplay. |

The ISU is like 3x the price.... |
222 still has 35*1.3*1.4 = 63.7 line of sights at vet.2
And the t-70 still has 68.5. What's the problem? |
222 + scope got nerfed a long time ago. |
U could build green covers on enemy key points and upgrade stgs in isolate territory right outside enemy base when against SOV and USF.
If going against UKF, go guerrilla strategy because UKF have less units and AEC is poor against inf now.
editKW also have more starting MP than other faction, so they could bring troops faster than the enemy. This aggressive maneuver would get little drawbacks. Keeping pressure and also cap territories.
Are you honestly getting base pinned in 4v4 in the first few minutes of the game? |
250mp. You would think volks are more, but they are only 10mp more than cons.
typo |
By experience, I think the targerting works like this, focusing fire on the model that do not in cover, then the closest. And some specific weapons like fg42 would never focus fire. So, I think in a 6v4 match up in same cover and same range, there would be no focus fire.
There is no focus fire, targeting is done by each model individually. It's pretty much a crapshoot based on too many factors to quantify. Machine guns like the fg42 have a chance to hit other models if they miss but they still aim like every other squad.
In a 6v4 the 4 man squad has a higher chance of more models targeting it at the same time, the 4 grens have 50% more targets to randomly aim at.
And as Volks armed with stgs, penals are no longer superior to volks that far but much cheaper.
Penals have slightly more dps than stg volks at all ranges, and more health. How much more do you expect a 300 mp squad to stomp a 250 mp + 60 muni squad. |
