Here I am posting shitty ideas for coh and will continue updating when I think of something.
*Removed popcap on max CP.
*All doctrinal units of a faction were now available at HQ on max CP.
*All "Unique"(Cannot build more than one) units now can rank to vet 5 to signify their uniqueness even more.
*On max CP their will be a buff that removes any previous limitations I'll name it all out war. Removes the base protection from commander abilities, you can now build more than one unique unit, etc.
Note: max cp can be increased for balancing.

I think you are watching too much ww2 hollywood films.
There is actually an engagement with only 1 Tiger in WW2, making a small number of shermans surrender and freeing some german prisoners. Not sure if it is 100% accurate tho, aside from researching old info who may or may not tampered with. Search Mark Felton productions in youtube, he post WW1&2 stuffs for people who is somewhat interested in it |
Then you're playing wrong game.
Realism was not taken into account in a singular instance of balancing, it is, was and always will be arcade RTS.
Try Men of War series or Steel Division.
Yeah, I mean at this point all at guns can be shooting b4 shells and its balanced. I mean the gameplay now become more and more boring boomer like me remember when you can build more than one "big tanks" as opposed to now can only build one.
I think tiger 1 is the only tank who went in almost solo in the whole ww2 |

Not a single one is any problem anymore, unless you just ignore and never deploy counters.
Nothing actually, just treat me as a "realist nazi". Since the game is based on reality I want it to be a bit closer and remove the "illogical" parts. |
The gist of this post is for nerfing and changes to emplacements.
*All emplacements can now be decrewable
*All new emplacements must now cost popcost(excudes base defence)
Why?
For years, I and my friends feel dumb on British emplacements surviving all sorts of bombardment.
Because of the crew and the building is basically one entity.
Note:
This also includes Wehr bunkers, Russian repair stations and etc.
A result of this, bunkers, bofors,etc now can be sniped.
Bunkers and other emplacements excluding things like fighting positions, etc. having population cost because it only makes sense, there should be someone inside.
Sniping and killing people inside "neutral emplacements" should not give exp and veterancy.
Everything is getting nerfed so why not include this too.
Cons(?):
Less fun(?)tactics simcity, bunkers, etc. everywhere.
Nerfs the players whose playstyle revolves on it, building emplacements is now a double-edge sword.
British brace ability will now only best used if there is mostly anti-tank weapons hitting it.

I think he means that Gustavv wasn't used that often (I believe only to fire at Ukraine at some point?) and therefor wants to change it to a "240mm arty barrage".
He would be suprised when he finds out how many Ostwinds were actually made/used
The fact that it fires 3 successive "railway artillery shells" and it's been that way for 5+ years. One of the worst or the worst offmap artillery on the game lore and gameplay wise with a freakin big red smoke and very long delay |
I know COH2 is very far from realism but please just remove the elephant in the room. It's been many years being an eyesore for many people who actually know some history. Just change it to normal artillery barrage or something. |
Its easy, just play allies if you want for ez win. The "physics" here makes moving target harder to hit, its much more noticeable when you're playing axis for some reason.
I only now rely on combined arms on playing OST. Blobbing will get u nowhere because of how bad their infantry is. Combined arms meaning microing everything perfectly.
I finish most my games with only T3 with the exception when I feel like to play a tiger and I consider that throwing.
