SOVs conscripts are not meant to handle other frontline infantry. Their role is utility. That utility is supplemented by Maxims, Penals, Guards, Shock Troops, which together with conscripts form a very formidable, durable and versatile army.
Sovs definitely have the most rewarding combined arms design, and its a real joy to play with |

This is mainly an ostheer problem not an OKW problem. |
Penals battalions such as the Branderburger regiment were used in very High-risk High-reward mission due to expendability. However, due to the nature of these missions they were given good equipment in order to succeed with these special ops.

Well, gotta indeed play this first to pass judgement, but...yes, I reckon Ostheer will likely have an even harder time to cope with this than it already has in general. Imagine the synergy between an AEC push and Commandos to mop up Paks, any support weapons, etc.
This. AEC with commandos will rape all ostheers support weapons to pieces. And if you try to avoid commando ambush by garrison land matress or flame engineers will get you.
This commander mitigates ALL big weaknesses of brits. Makes them much more offensive early and mid and excellent garrison / fortification cleaning. Then comes late game and strong brittish tanks.

I recommend Panzerbusche at rifles.
They are already in the game so Relic doesn't have to do any extra work besides moving some numbers around to make them work like the other at rifles.
These would be a mostly defensive weapon for early game to survive the light vehicle pushes. Late game they can already rely on their Raketen, Puma, Jagdpanzer, and panther for strong AT presence.
Whatever they do I would not like to see a snare on Volks, it makes them too much like every other infantry squad.

Jagdtiger works fine, still gets dazed by shots so under most circumstances it is impractical. works with proper support only, definition of a niched unit which is where it should be. |

They are a gimmicky unit primarily feautured in a gimmicky commander; The encirclement commander.
It is all about one thing; High risk, high reward. Time Close the Pocket or an ambush with Stormtroopers generates the same result; Either total destruction or total failure. I think it is fine |
