Cost, as a balancing tool, is one of timing and not one of performance. If a unit is overperforming, adjusting the cost will not fix it. If a unit is coming out too early or too late, cost can be used to tweak it.
The Easy 8 cost more than a Jackson and is the most expensive tank Americans can build.

How so? It's mediocre against infantry and nothing special against tanks. It's the only decent tank the USF has.

The E8 is not even slightly overperforming. It isn't spammable, it doesn't do too much damage, it doesn't have too much armour or health, and it doesn't have too much penetration. For what it is, a mid game tank that gets countered by the next tank up, it's a perfectly fine tank.
Panthers are also fucking awesome, don't know what you people are talking about.

I find it funny how every single time when axis unit is brought back to a normal level of power it becomes instantly extinct.

Most people use now kats because right now they're effective, as axis players use certain units because they're effective too. I don't see anyone using units like Brummbar or T70...
People are adapting to soviet T4 because it is the new meta against OKW, and of course SU82 are harder to micro than T3 tanks, so it's normal to see players losing SU82 like noobs and complaining. There's no hypocresy in there, just noobs bitching about their lack of skill, and if you can't understand that this is a game and that everyone here are "CoH players" and not "allied/axis players" then you should refrain a little your commments, as they are absolutely biased and aggressive.

there is no question that e8 is way over performing for cost. t34/85 needs price increase. Brachiaraidos is very very very biased. panther is crap compared to e8 and t34. it can hit shit. kiting with it is impossible due to moving penalty. 50 range is a fucking joke if you can't use it.
I do like the idea of having to at least tech up to gain access to units. ie t-34 requires t4 sov building. tiger needs t4 germans researched. double p4 should be second truck after conversion to building. |
