The british howie and tech building are one and the same, right? One thing to consider is if they got buffed too much, opponent basically has to go for annihilation victory just to take them out, which makes for a bad gameplay at least in my opinion. If they were separate buildings things might be different. |

Mortar Pit will win a duel against a Mortar squad
Especially if you just sit there. |
I would just give them ambush camo and revert other changes. |
There is also FHQ and you can always make multiple halftracks. |
Seems to me there is now a drawback in upgrading quad besides the muni cost. So if you want to reinforce, you don´t upgrade, eh? |
I actually do like them having 1600 health, it´s what differentiates them from other heavies. However, maybe select axis at weapons (not all of them) could do more than 160 damage to churchills (through target tables).
Other than that, I think heavies like tiger 1 and is2 should do 200-240 damage to increase their impact now that their limit is on. |
I would keep them separate, make ppsh and ptrs nondoctrinal and add them to the mix whilst increasing the price a little bit. Of course this would mean more changes but just throwing some ideas here.
You could either call them "assault" and anti tank packages or they could be made mutually exclusive a la brits so that option A gives molotovs and ptrs upgrade for conscripts and option B was at nade + ppsh. |
The Chaffee is very late war and isn't "sexy" like the Pershing. So it's not as popular to include in various games. It's still sexier than all the sherman variants together. +1 for chaffee from me. |
I think OP has actually a very good suggestions there. Would make usf early game a bit more interesting. Maybe the squad accuracy and cost could even stay unchanged. This way you would still have your cheap bazooka platform option.
Flamer for rear echelons wouldn´t make much sense as usf already has two doctrinal flamethrower upgrades. |
NKVD rifle disruption commander with b4-, isu152- and kv2-bulletins is my personal favourite. If and when you happen to win with it, you get a warm, satisfying feeling. |
