Just only use ATTACK GROUND (std hotkey G) Dont let them "auto shoot" Dont forget to make a nice blob to one shot a KT/ tigers etc. PIAT's even with attack ground suck ass with their accuracy, at max range even hitting a bunker is problematic let alone a Luch pretty much just a gimmick weapon to blob vs a unsupported tiger and nothing else. Thread: Land mattress damage27 Feb 2016, 02:40 AM Land mattress needs to come early when you consider it gets shut down by the Stuka. Really it's dumb to compare with the Calliope, with the land mattress all you need to do is barrage it with a stuka or snipe incediary shot and it's dead. It fires a lot of shells and fuel wise is cheap, but it's short range and 2 min recharge means it's easy to catch out with a few LMG bursts. Also bare in mind it costs more MP than the katy or werfer. All in all I would rather have a non doctrinal mobile rocket platform like the katy/stuka/werfer In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Ostheer is on life support28 Jan 2016, 17:45 PM Comet is really not as good against infantry as people make it out to be, and it comes pretty damn late when you already have access to panthers/Tiger. Against heavy tanks it lacks the extra pen that the panther has that makes the Panther vs Churchill much more in favour of axis than Comet vs Tiger. P4 and cromwell outperform that 50+180 fuel waste of space for what they give you in an average 1vs1. As for Ost T3, maybe make the Ostwind and P4 a hair cheaper but really when you compare them to their UKF counterparts (Centaur, Cromwell) are they really that bad? Vet P4's are already a pain to deal with as USF (cue flash backs of 57mm's/Zooks pinging all day long as innocent Ambulances explode in the background). Ost have their weaknesses but they also have their BS OP units, Panzerwerfer and their sniper being pretty obvious contenders. While they also have a lot of doctrinal tools to fill said weaknesses (Ostruppen, Puma+command tank, 30 muni vehicle smoke, Tiger, and hey cookiez they even have their own "tank commander" esc upgrade in spotting scopes) I think that would at least be worth adding to the OP In: COH2 Balance
