Can we Make Bunkers more punishing to use ?

As they currently are both are mini-Bofors'. My suggestion is giving them pop-cap (MG one only for the OST and when upgraded with a .50 cal for fighting position). Thus they drain MP regen and restrict the field presence further at the cost a solid defence for several munites if properly supported.

They could probably stand to be 1 pop each if they had a scuttle ability.

Ok to add 1 pop each, but if you are comparing them to bofors, it is bofors that should recieve pop reduction. Post patch bofors just sucks.

Oh gawd stop with the pop increases. At this rate we'll only be able to have enough pop for 1 medium tank come late game. NO. MORE. POP INCREASES ON ANYTHING! Enough is enough.

How do you get that out of adding pop cost to bunkers? Which would still only be available stock on 2 out of 5 factions

Also digging a hole in the ground and dropping an MG into it wasn't really distinct to any of the countries. Its an odd way to make factions differ in a ww2 rts

Can we increase fighting position armor or something while we're at it, so they aren't just an easy way to lose half the squad inside when it inevitably goes kaput.

Nerf bunkers... like how they just nerfed them so they can't self spot anymore? That was the only truly cancerous thing about them if you're having trouble with them then it's probably LTP

I was not saying its hard to counter them if they are alone. But with both USF and OST has mortars in T0 and T1. OST also has the super-b MG42 to cover other flanks. Also good luck with a teammate building bunkers for OKW to hold with volks spam. Same goes for UKF with USF support. IMO it is just unhealty and unfun playstyle.

Bunkers should have popcap cost, they are an issue in large team games when spammed. After Bofors nerf there is no excuse for those things having no popcap.

And it wont even affect 1v1/2v2 balance since those are hardly ever used in these modes.

USF can get to 120 popcap with the tank crew exploit and you complain about bunkers who are worthless once the tanks get on the field ? L2P .

Brit was no issue until recent Churchill pop increase while keeping its stats. You cannot have it all ways, bolster squads, heavy armor, 60 td...

Wehr has been and still is popcap constrain

Really need relic to look into usf pop and later sov, to be fair

Pop was standardized several patches ago. Unless you have an argument based on numbers instead of feelings, I see no reason to believe it isn't completely fair at the moment.
