UKF should get something to replace the Bofors with since their now down a unit/structure and I'm just wondering what they could do for a new stock unit/structure/ability.
1) They could get the M5 halftrack and remove it from the new commander
2) They could get an M3 halftrack
3) They could make the Valentine stock
4) The could have buildable MG bunkers like they have in their base
What should Bofors be replaced with?

Have actually tried it?
It works right now, and still kills LV , just not medium tanks like it did before
And doesn’t insta delete inf but pin them very fast

I wouldn't build a Bofors if it were free at this point so that's not really going to do anything. If they want the Bofors gone they should just replace it with something else.

For a bofor replacement, i will go with the valentine, rework it in to a slow AI tank, 550-600 HP, 4.8-5 speed, 80dmg main gun, improve aoe and MG, somke pot. So that, in T2, UKF have choice between fast AT and slow AI specialist.
In the other hand, post patch bofor doesn't bad, with reliable suppression, it still be a good area control station.
I prefer built it further behind the line now. For many situations, I use the bofor for to hold cut off or a coupled of control points that latter i will put cache, in early - mid game, it also act as a last ditch backup in case of my front line got overrun, it also protect the rear from infiltration units like fall or stomtrooop, all while provide some short of AA. And yeah, The only thing need improve is AA, if AA performance of bofor can be just more reliable, it will be very nice.

Seems like a lot of resouses to spend on an emergency rear guard unit that's immobile and you will likely never use. With something like a USF fighting position or OST MG bunker you are paying a relatively small about of resources and zero pop and getting a much better emergency rear guard unit. I think UKF should be able to build their base MG bunkers now as a Bofors replacement.

As i said, it is situational and it is my personal way of using the unit. I didn't say my way is the most efficiency way but i can make it work and I'm still adapting to the new patch, finding new way to make good use of what i have in the faction.
Dont misunderstand me, i'm 100% with you in replace the bofor by something else, you can take a look in my valentine idea. But, For now, I can confidently said that the bofor is still far from being deleted.
Yet i'm UKF main.

There is no reasoning with madness they say.
I dont think anyone wants bofors gone, but you just want how it was 'OP' against unaware and newer players.
Basically it was a noob roflstomper.
