You’re not gonna get much from a an IS2, unless you’ve gone Elite Armoured. Command Panther alongside 2-3 raketens is your best bet.


JP4's do just fine against IS2's on most maps. They bounce once in awhile but always seem to hit. The IS2 misses it probably more than the JP4 bounces off the IS2.

Also, since they made the Command Panther tied to the Schwerer, Spec Ops isn't that great. I still sometimes have it in my loadout for arranged teams but don't use it when playing with randoms. I'd need to be sure that I was going to get a lot out of arty flares before I gave up Falls, Pf's, or JLI's.

When I assault with IS2 I always have either a penal satchel squad to save me from armoured counter attack, Katy to barrage enemy AT wall, MU to use some AI commander ability and preferably another vehicle because IS2 doesn't excel with the DPS, preferably SU85 or KV8, best would be both. Combined arms make it tough to deal with unless enemy builds an Elefant/JT.

JP vs IS-2 has 45% chance to penetrate at range 60 and 52% at range 45 so is doubt it bounces "once and while".

The IS-2 has 68% chance to score a "natural" hit at max range.

Thanks for understanding I meant JP4, my ipad’s keyboard is hard to use.

It hits, but the damage output is pretty low. Spec Ops I disagree, it’s still by far the most stellar OKW doctrine and I’d bet both my lv16 ranks with okw on it. Command Panther plus rak wall is still absurd at wrecking heavies, just pop mark target and let the volleys go at them. You also get flares for your stukas which are an absolute MUST in teamgames, great grenade assaults and stgs for obers. Radio silence can also be OP af in 1v1s. Overall Spec Ops should always be in your loadout.

My suggestion would be that all Super heavies stop being call-in units and become build able from HQ with a long built, time 1-2 minutes. The Change will delay they appearance and will make losing them more punishing.
