Sherman is medium tank, of course it's better than luchs. Ostwind is a T3 AA vehicle that is more deadly than ISU and Brummbar against infantry and could shoot down planes for a cost cheaper than P4. No denial that Centaur is also better than Cromwell for example, but not to this level and it takes quite a lot longer to get one because brits need mandatory sidegrades for their infantry to fight.

115+30 =145 briys

90+40+15= 145 osther

if we add upgrade and tier

115+30+15+10=170 brits

90+40+15+10+20=175 osther

and no, u don't need bolster, IS beat green at all ranges already

Judging by the fact that you think bolster isnt mandatory vs Ost despite sniper threat the only one delusional here is you. And no Ostwind AI is wastly different from centaur, there is a reason it's AoE capped to 2 models

The thread you keep linking shows me pointing out how ridiculous Ostwind is, and how increasing the cost is the least thing that should be done to it (which happened) my entire point is that it's not enough. 2 ostwinds do not wreck a single T-34 although they cost 200 fuel vs 90, it might happen but changes are low. That is simply not true.

Apparently reality itself disagrees with you because it happened. Whether chances are low is irrelevant, the fact that it's possible makes it obvious Ostwind ROF buff was classic JLI style overbuff
