Selecting a commander should be a 2-click process...

...like it was in vCoh. Now that you can choose a commander at 0 cp, an errant click locks you in for the game. In vCoh you had to hit 'accept' after the 1st click. a similar functionality would prevent accidental commander selection.

hope its not just me =)

While I can see that it might be a problem, in over 500 games I've never accidentally selected a commander in CoH 2 so I can only assume it's not an issue that really needs addressing.

Close to 500 games and have clicked the wrong commander twice. Annoying, but not a biggie I think.

My problem isn't misclickung the wrong commander, but picking too early and choosing a commander that doesn't suit the battle scenario well enough.

While I imagine that an "are you sure?" prompt might reduce the chances of that happening slightly, I think it'd ultimately be more annoying than useful.

Id give stern talking to the person who designed the ingame Commander related UI.

Fking blinking boxes and flashing graphics everywhere, needlessly obscures the fieldmview, accidentally clickable.

Such noobish design elements as stating COMMANDERS UNLOCKED in a huge popup at the start of every game, completely needlessly. Yeah, thanks for the info. NO SHIT?!

Pretty terrible really. What id expect in a kickstarter, not from salaried professionals.

To add to that, pretty sure it still says commanders unlocked at 1 cp and in the notification bar :P

I think making it 2 clicks is a good idea. It only happened to me once or twice but I can see how some people would accidentally hit the wrong commander.

I wonder if a UI mod is possible?

It'd be nice to move the resource counters down to the left side near the minimap.

Id prefer a DoW style vertical unit represenatation as well.
But thats just me and coming from that game.

i played dow and i like the horizontal one and the fact that its split by vehicles and infantry.

No thanks. I don't need any more pop-ups that blocks the field of fire.

I'm all fine with just one click. I could do without the zooming circles in screaming yellow, though.
