I'd like to talk about the Bofors gun.
Why does an anti-air (!) fortified position is absolutely incapable of bringing planes down? I've conducted some tests with 40 Bofors positions (it's 400 out of 100 deployment points, even 4x4 games cannot be seen with such amounts of Bofors) and all those were not able to bring down a single reconnaissance plane, while a single OKW AA position does the trick with no effort.
I think the Bofors position is ought to receive a buff in this regard.

Don't think we have to speak a lot about that. It needs ~ same stats as OKW base.

I agree. It is cost effective for something that dominates easily against infantry. It is quite strong for something that costs that much.
What Bofors needs is buff in AA but nerf in AI.
Simply AI is too strong. It can even combat nearly singlehandedly a PanzerIV (OH).
What it underperforms is AA definitely.
What it overperforms is definitely against Ground Units. Make it performs similarly to the way OKW base is since that is balanced. It is decent against both ground and air units.
Bofors simply fill too much a role against Ground units to excessively. That needs adjusting.
That is definitely a Big LOL.
I enjoy Coh2. I want this game to be balanced as it can possibly be for

That video is hilarious, it seems like the bug is a simple fix too, like it's set to do 0 damage to aircraft because the rounds are clearly hitting it just doing no health damage to the plane.
it's not even that it's "underperforming" as AA, it's simply not performing at all because it's bugged and has been for a long time.
Thank god Brits have Centaur though, it's AA is fantastic and makes up for the bofors being broken.

Maybe it's 'cause the Axis players aren't a bunch of forum crybabies, and they keep their cool and fight the uphill battle, unlike some of their "allied" counterparts.

I think that was some years ago, when it pens Panther etc. It still deals too much damage versus AI. It needs some other abilitys to be useful, like supression etc.

Sure, fix it vs aircraft (thats actually a bug not an underperformance). But also reduce its ability to insta-wipe infantry. = Tadaaa fixed

and still it hold very good vs the best players when stuveh etc use simcity vs them...but it is right you must be noob to lose p4 in a fight bofors vs p4.
but the truth is: combine it with at, mortar emplacment and you will be save vs the most impact from enemy till the 15-20min mark. and this for relativ cheap costs.
mostly a bofors pays for its self when you build it and a squad/ light armor will instantly killed. after that the advantage is on your side. it comes far to early ( it can be build before an OKW flak emplacment can be build....wich isnt effective like a bofors and cost only 10fuel less and is behind commander)
