Also, little bit of mobility buff would be nice, too.
Or, another way - add AP belt-ability, like MG42 tracer-belt or E8 HVAP shells with higher penetration but with little to none AoE.

I don't think it should be better than Pz 4 against infantry. Don't forget that it costs less than Pz 4.
About actual buffs - I was thinking about slight buff to AA performance (only slight - german tanks all have pintle MG, which also works as AA), buff to hull MG accuracy (better AI, but your Ostwind should "look" at the enemy) and even possibly +10 frontal armor (because their paper armor is pain in the a...).

- Improve AA capabilities so that it matches the OKW 251 Flak Halftrack.
- Increase rate of fire on main gun. Vet 3 cooldown and reload reduction should be moved to vet 0.
- Increase penetration so it can effectively fight Allied light armor. Penetration increased to ~80/60/50 from 55/40/35.
(On the third point: due to low accuracy values it wouldn't instagib all lights but it would be certainly strong enough to kill them when out of position or to keep them at bay.)

Actually that's the Pz4 that's too good vs infantry and overshadow the Ostwind.

Buff its anti-air, nerf AA of pintle MGs and 222.
This is a pretty good idea. Not to mention shooting down planes reliably would help it vet up.

-More dmg to infantry (Not sure if the Ost should do single target dmg or splash dmg)
-a Bit of supression on the mg aswell, like 2-3 sec setup time

Permanently BannedFor the Ostwind, its simply needs a bit more accuracy at long range. The shells no longer collide with terrain but they are so inaccurate they are outright missing the target that many times not even one man is getting shot at.

Just right, no need for more powercreep. Ostwind works the same way 251HTAA but without a setup time to force you to stop to be effective.

Apart from the fact that I doubt it has the same effective dps as the AA Ht, the aa half track does have this thing called surpession you know?
In fact looking into it it seems like the AAHT has a comparable or even superior main gun profile, having equal AOE, better scatter and better ROF, and has two mgs (18/1.5) vs the one that the ostwind has (13/3). Also the 50 Val's have 45 range vs mg34s 35

Doesn't die in two hits, isn't scared of LVs. You have to remember that at the begining kubel and AAHT were the standard suppression platform for OKW but yeh OKW power creep isn't a secret for everyone and it doesn't mean other factions should follow the same pattern.

Ost P4 is only slightly better than the cromwell in killing inf and thats because it has a pintle upgrade. OKW p4 is better at killing inf due to a somewhat recent buff to AoE that wasn't given to the Ost p4. Hence the ost p4 is not "too good" and the ostwind should be better than the ost p4 in killing inf.

Oh when you said they both worked the same I assumed you meant that they both worked the same ( which isn't the case). What exactly did you mean?
Also kubel and flakHT arnt the best examples of powercreep since kubel suppression was awesome and now is no longer so and the FlakHT was the pinicle of uselessness.

I think you're mistaken, they have identical weapons except the OKW has less scatter and better vet.
