I want to host a CoH2 1v1 Tournament single elimination with a $100 prize via pay-pal. 500 victory point game. I am open to advice to running this tournament. The tournament will start at 12 PM PST Saturday February 2nd. If you are interested in participating please join this discord :https://discord.gg/ZkxWSpa if you are interested in watching: https://www.twitch.tv/americanhomie I will not participate in the game I will only spectate as to prevent me from winning. Anyone is welcome. Max 16 players. If we have 16 players the finals and semi finals will occur at 12PM PST Sunday February 3rd.
Factions will be chosen via chance (coin flip) for Axis and Allies. Then after one game it will flip sides. Best 2 out of 3 will advance the player to next bracket
There is no buy in. No catch just a competition
The rule set that will be used is the rule set found here minus the venue and travel rules https://gcs2.org/compete/rules

Maps and faction selection should be clear else there might be axis vs axis matchups on custom maps. I think you should take more time to prepare and maybe ask Stormless or AE for some advice what you should look out for.

A_E ran the GCS. Check out his rule set here to see if you missed anything. Grand Championship Series Rules
There are always things like bugsplats, game bugs, etc that can end a match. You need a plan for when they happen.
cheers

SMC runs on that day, FYI, but if you delay it, I can try to host you if it has to be on that day, no idea when SMC will end though. GL.
