It'd be nice if IR pathfinders were 0cp too.

Not since SBP it isn't. It got a 33% reduction to its main gun damage.

Upgraded, it's about on par with the Luchs now. Greyhound vs Luchs is a pretty fair fight.

Without the .50 cal upgrade, it's got a solid chance to lose against a 222.

Mirage means that USF's other light vehicles are balanced in their single tier unlock timings, as the M5 (Stuart) is mainly anti-vehicle and the other ones have low health. If the M8 would come at similar timing as M5/AA HT/M20, but with great AI performance and more HP, it would be OP. He wasn't talking about the M8 Greyhound in the sentence you quoted, but about the M5 Stuart.

Curses! Hoist by USF's hugely distinct vehicle naming once again!

Edited.

You would essentially have a T-70 light on the field quite early that can also canister units down that is quite powerful with its 50 cal. The unit is also spotting all threats as it has 50 sight base and boasts 400 health.

I wouldn't be against kicking it down 1 CP, however, or requires three unlocks in USF tech so it's properly gated. The M5 is mainly an anti-vehicle unit and the other vehicles don't have the same health.

Maybe IR Pathfinders could come at 0 CP, though needs testing. Regular Pathfinders you can at least rush.

Could dial it back a bit and have its current stats part of vet/muni upgrades. Skirts and the 50 cal could be gated making it a bit more squishy and a little less lethal. Idk. Maybe - 1cp is enough tho

Gray hound could be turned into a doctrinal upgrade for m20.

(Even better if moved to mechanized with some addition changes)

The units do not share the same model, even if they're on the same chassis in real life.

Maybe remove from the map the replace then? (with the refit mechanism)

The unit belong around CP3 or CP4, not more. In fact it has been dual nerfed when the commander has been revamp. Once before release Mr.Smith decided to put it behind CP5 because it was supposed to be really good and thus come late and then after the patch with a main gun damage nerf to 40.

It was really good at 60 splash damage, but whewn it got nerfed with no compensation, alongside the clusterfuck mines then RS kinda fell off the face of the earth. I wish Raid Tactics at least was a passive and not another muni-sink.
