M3 veterancy bug

My guess is that the bug gets caused cuz the shared veterancy for the M3 itself does not get applied to the crew, so the "shared vet part" simply gets nullified once you jump out.

This bug is confirmed a while ago. I wonder if it's fixable by enabling shared veterancy on the vehicle crew aswell. (although, that has probably several unwanted consequences)
Hmm yeh I already assumed something like that :/
If it's not possible to fix it without allowing abuse or breaking all crews, I think it's the best to change it so the M3 crew cannot leave the vehicle anymore (like Pershing, Priest, Calliope)

the unit does not need to share veterancy it has enough dps
When was last time you have seen vet3 halftruck without dps upgrade?
Was it still in CoH1?

I think what Katitof wants to say is that it's pretty hard to get vet 3 on a halftrack without weapon upgrade (quad flak or double flamer) and without shared vet

On the USF M3? Fairly often when it gets called in.

pretty sure tootsy always swapped the crew with a vetted riflemen squad tho and thats how he got the vet on M3

Hmm. Maybe there's a way to make it so they receive shared vet but only when in a vehicle?

Sometimes, if the enemy fires a faust on it, the faust will hit the squad that you carry and kill a model of it instead of hitting the vehicle and causing engine damage.
Can someone confirm this bug for other halftracks as well?

Do you mean while it's still inside?
If you hop out of an open top vehicle that is targeted by a snare it will switch targets to your infantry, there isn't a known way to fix this. Especially noticeable with the AT satchel sticking to infantry that hop out of the 250 because of how sloooow it is.

yeh while they are still inside, and they didnt jump out or in.. the HT with the rifles inside was just moving towards a gren, they fausted it, and the faust hit the rifles while they were still inside the HT
