Tanks lose accuracy on the move?

I do remember someone commenting that the balancing changes on the M3A1 a few patches ago were supposed to affect the accuracy of the occupying units.

That said, I read a person who said relic said that, not a relic employee them self. Furthermore the patch notes had nothing that made that explicitly apparent, but I'm not that proficient at understanding what some of the characteristics effect in game.

The movement of the M3 makes NO difference to the Snipers accuracy.

Again, you are wrong.

Just, wonder,...the snipers often miss when the M3 is moving. Try it. There must be a modifier. Nullist talking crap again,..boring!

This from the guy who didn't know Armor gets 50% accuracy on movement...
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
All the irony is not enough.

There is no irony, I ask when I don't know to learn. You on the other hand never learn.

M3 movement has absolutely NO effect on the garrisoned units accuracy.
Zero.
Null.
Zilch.
Nada.

Best describes the value of your comments.

I believe Peter said it when someone asked on chat if there are any modifiers added to units in vehicles. So yes, Relic stated that in a cast :)

Nullist, dude, check your sources before you rant.

Is it counted as "moving" when INSIDE the M3 garrison?

Technically its the vehicle that is moving in that case, not the Sniper.

Wrong.
No accuracy modifier. Doesn't miss anymore inside the vehicle, than outside of it.

Sorry, but the Sniper definitly misses if he shoots out of the scoutcar, in situation where he wouldn't have missed otherwise. Not sure if you are only talking about the moving part? I think they miss the same no matter if the Scoutcar is moving or standing still.

Top gunner mounts exhibit the same modifiers and so I believe it applies to snipers; wherein they cannot shoot while they themselves are moving, but exhibit the accuracy penalty because the model is moving. You would see the same behavior with lmgs in soviet scout car/half track.

Can you double check if the LMG has the same modifier then please?

Don't know if M3 gives a malus or the actual snipers are considered moving, therefore receiving reduced accuracy, what it matters to me is knowing that they do miss in that situation.
(sorry if I base my knowledge on actually playing the game and not on spending my time on excel spreadsheets)

About as pathetic as you whining repeatedly about numerous Armor issues without even knowing about the universal 50% accuracy modifier.

In game it totally reflects this. Sniper misses a lot when moving in scout car, a lot more when it's not in scout car.

Except against units garrisoned in buildings the soviet sniper misses very little when out of scout car.

Snipers have 1.0 accuracy so they will never miss outside of a scout car unless shooting something garrisoned. Incidentally they also do 0 damage and instead force an infantry critical :)

I'm not Endeav, but I can confirm this - LMGs, same as sniper rifles, have shooting on the move disabled and get 0.5 accuracy penalty on the move.

You can check it here (in raw data, under "moving"): http://coh2-stats.herokuapp.com/small_arms/grenadier_mg42lmg_mp
