I'm not talking about average players who understand stats and balance.

I'm talking about the very bad players who do not understand it, but will post about it anyway.

Having skill to use units to full extend helps tremendously and not having it, especially when sticking to just one faction/side means to very biased opening posts.

If someone makes a bad balance suggestion out of ignorance if far simpler and far more productive to offer a sort explanation on why that suggestion is bad than to engage in personal attack against me.

Personal attack are neither productive nor simpler.

Unrelated question, but is there any date for the new patch to launch? This one is going through tests for ages.

My problem with balance discussions is that they mostly serve as a distraction from focusing on fixing bugs and improving the tools and assets available to the community for user generated content.

I've said it many times over the years:trying to achieve balance with a broken set of scales is a fools errand. There are overall design and game mechanic flaws that have never been addressed, and likely never will.
