A Sniper will still one-shot every time it hits a model in a building.
The hit chance may be reduced, but its still always fatal.
Imo Snipers are fine vs buildings.
Adjustment should prioritise
-Removing random building collapse crits.
-Perhaps reducing building cover when firing from < close range
(to indirectly emulate "assaulting" the building).
So that a unit firing INTO a building at <10 gets say 20% modifier, whereas unit firing OUT of a building at <10 still gets 0% modifier.
It will one shot model in the building if it hits it, however you can faster tech up to t70 than clear 4 models from the building with sniper.
Sniper is just about worst counter to mg in the building......
I liked different options in VCOH you had to deal with HMG's and units in buildings. snipers, mortars, flanking, nade, flames. It was fun to play
Agree, close range damage to units in the building would be great for 1v1 (give extra option to clearing it out)
It wouldn't solve anything in 3v3's and 4v4's due to multiple HMG's converging on same spot (fuel) effectively taking out any flanking, or switching to different part of the map as an option. Must go for the fuel, and there is only one way. Clown car with flame, and/or mortar........
Just to clarify, my main concern isn't that I cannot clear MG'42 out of building. I can, with clown and flame unit or lucky shot with mortar.
My concern is that game is absolutely boring, I can predict with 90% accuracy what will happen in the game on loading screen.........
Judging by the number of people dropping out of player base, I am not alone there.
atm, unless your main reason to play COH2 is to climb the rank ladder, there is very little reason to play the game at all. I, for one, am close to losing interest completely.
3v3's and 4v4's I quit playing althogether, 1v1's I play 1-2 games every few days, and get over it quickly...
