Second Commander Rework

So here's an unofficial poll. Which commander would you like to see get the rework treatment this time around?
I've marked commanders that were in the last rework with an asterisk*.
I've tried to stick something identifying in brackets for people who don't remember commanders by name, but many of the Ostheer and Soviet Commanders are remixes so they don't all have them.

Can you make a dedicated suggestions thread? Perhaps per faction? This way people can submit ideas at a central location and the ideas could be summarized in the OP.

Unfortunately a little group of people will decide what commanders will receive the rework, not the community.
That's a sensible course of action in my opinion. Last time Osttruppen got picked. Royal Engineer had one ability (Stand Fast) nerfed into obsolescence and that was considered its rework.
These polls are both entertaining and interesting nonetheless. I did not expect this many votes for the two Community Defensives.

Elite Armored is definitely a sensible pick. It's currently very much a teamgame-only commander.
I wouldn't say no to a second pass on USF Mechanized either.

There will be both. 1vs1 and Teamgame i assume. Like for example 1 for 1vs1, 1 for 2vs2.
And i agree nice work for all the names and i like extras, because i am self had no idea, how every single commander got called

I don't think so, Elite Armor is a solid commander for team games. HEAT shells can make the Panzer IV dominate the mid game and give all late game tanks a huge damage buff (especially KT which does ~45% damage per shot to TDs with HEAT shells) and the Sturmtiger is always fun to use. Only the Panzer commander mechanics could use a buff maybe.

There should be 2 process of changing commander:
1) Redesign. Commander that bring too much or too little on the table should be redesigned.
For instance: there is allot a talk about mobile defense but the problem of the commander is not balance issue but a design issue. The commander gives access to both an AT and AI vehicle with not tech and to doctrinal infantry. Nerfing the Puma or the C. PzIV is not the solution. changing the abilities is more suited for this commander.
2) Balancing abilities.
This is regardless of commander. For instance Soviet vehicles detection is an extremely weak ability and it should be brought inline with other similar abilities.
This is an issue both with and and the revamped commanders:
For instance Soviet tank hunter commander simply has too much AI for an thematically AT commander.

That and the repair ability as well, it's just painful to use compared to the other repair abilities, it disables your tank for like 30 ammo and Idk how much time to just fix a critical? Please... the Churchill does it automatically on the move at vet 3.

But I see major use Commander should litte tweak some unit
sample (no idea for Ost and OKW for now )
Shock trooper should be Change Def Bonus like Armor 1.5 (33% defect form Small arm weapon exclude LMG type)
to lower target size ? main problem their faceoff LMG42 or LMG34 1.5 armor is useless need smoke open to closing
And Tommy Tank hunter is see should need coming form CP 1 not 2
form early UKF Play if not fix about AT snare
Edit and USF Ranger form GCS2 I think their need something but I no idea with good reason right now
