E3 Fallout 76 Trailer:

The making of Fallout 76 documentary:

Fallout 76 Full Stage Show | Bethesda E3 2018:

Will have online play only.
Can play solo if wanted, but can team up to 4 people atm.
20-30ish players per server.
4x as big as Fallout 4.
Release date: November 14 2018.
Standard game will cost about 60$
Private servers and mods will be able added sometime after the release.
When you logout, your "base" disappears and pops up again when you login, unless something is blocking the location, then you get a blueprint for your base parts.
If your base gets attacked/nuked, you will not lose anything and can repair at a low cost.

PVP seems to be optional, some way of asking for combat.

Pre-ordering Fallout 76 is the only way to get access to the B.E.T.A. Visit fallout.bethesda.net/buy-now to pre-order the game from your preferred participating retailer or digital platform.
They also have some pre-BE.T.A that a select few will get access to help with balance issues.

Steam takes 30% of sales so it seems they wanna save some money and with them having their own launcher they can also distribute and sell mods via their launcher.

Fallout 76 Perk Card Chart

FO76 Panel from this weekend of Quakecon

Summery written by a reddit user:
https://old.reddit.com/r/fo76/comments/96i4l9/notes_taken_from_todays_qa_slowly_updating/

  • Players enter a downed state before death and can be revived by another player
  • Mutations: Susceptible to get from rads and can cure through radaway
  • Better character customization with ID badge and photo mode
  • Endurance now also affects resistance to disease
  • Charisma affects the sharing of higher point perks, rewards from group quests and the price why you barter. Good for group players. But also good for loners, such as the lone wanderer perk or some aid perks.
  • Intelligence now also affects the durability of crafting and scrapping return
  • Luck now also affects durability and condition of loot
  • Perk cards have "point costs" for certain specials, stronger cards require more points. These
points are the level of the special that the card is in
  • Crossbows
  • Ammo has weight
  • Start out with all Specials at 1
  • Vendors and bartering
  • "Exotic weapon mods"
  • Mysterious Stranger is coming back
  • After level 10 you get Card packs every 5 levels
  • Perks for hearing directional audio when in range of a bobblehead/magazine for finding them
  • Swappable perk cards
  • You can get cards that you can unlock at a later level
  • Special Point cap at level 50
  • Bethesda will continue working on the game for years
  • Cap reward based on opponents level
  • When killed, you can get revenge and get double the cap reward
  • When killing someone who doesn't engage in combat, the killer becomes a "wanted murderer" and receives no reward (Caps nor XP), is marked in a relative area on the map for all players by a red star. They have a bounty on their head from their own caps. The killer cant see players on their map.
  • They are "Turning assholes into interesting content"
  • Death also results in losing caps
  • Safe stashes in CAMPS and stashes in the world to store junk
  • Fast traveling to vault 76 and nearest point is free
  • PvP unlocks at level 5
  • You can ignore or block players
  • Settlement blueprints
  • Play instruments
  • Composer is Inon Zur
  • Radio stations
  • More tracks

Those will all be cosmetic, and all the things you can buy you will be able to find ingame also.

All future DLC's will be free also.

Judging by early reviews of the beta, Fallout 76 is indeed going to be the bad experiment no one asked for.

I really enjoyed Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 but I just can't be interested in 76 at all. All most people (including me) ever wanted was a Fallout 3/4 world but with 4 player coop option for multiplayer.

I honestly kinda hope this game completely flops so they won't try anything as fishy for future Fallout/Elder Scrolls games.

Makes me sad because Appalachia is the closest Fallout will get to my state.
I feel obligated to buy it, but it looks like poo.

I live in West Virginia so I would really like to explore my post-nuclear state, but it's just not lookin' like it's going to be good at all. It's quite disappointing.
