I played few games now where I could not hear the grande warning given by conscripts when targeted by grenadiers grande. Did anyone else notice this? I think this might be related to the patch because prior to that they used to shout "GRENADE!".

Anyone notice this new problem?

Do you understand the comment? I am talking about the audio warning which was functioning before the patch. Now its not, you clearly don't know.

they dont. they kind of shout it out.

it seems the German rifle grenade might have a bug. i haven't been hearing it lately too. perhaps it has to do with the animation cancel and the munition fix they did a while ago.

Only one warning plays at any one given time. If two units are under attack, the warning that plays may not be the one that is being naded (applies to both sides).

True, I noticed this too. Sometimes they scream "GRENADE" after the nade hits (or almost hits) the target.

This was working properly before the patch I think.

So I'm not crazy, same problem here.

So I'm not the only one. I though it was intentional.

The "lag" on audio warnings has been there forever, not just since the last patch.

I don't think so, I remember conscripts giving out warning as grenadiers started and before the grande hit.

was working fine before patch, I dodge a lot of rifle grenades because of sound, not anymore.

My theory is that they needed to move something in the ability further back to allow for cancelling, which also either was the trigger causing thing or pushed the trigger further back...
I wonder if they can fix this without breaking rifle grenades again and without making it possible to spam the enemy with grenade warnings.

Thanks all for your input. How can we bring this to the attention of Relic?

I think they browse these forums. When you hear them on streams they say they spend a lot of time on the forums per day reading what's going on.

As they haven't been shouting grenade I've found that it is a lot harder to dodge a riflenade. The Soviet telegraphing is a lot more obvious in that the conscripts will run up and one of them will visibly light a bottle and work up to a throw. The german riflenade guy crouches down a little and fiddles with his rifle (which most of the models will do while firing anyway). Once it's in the air it's too late same as the molotov.
And I agree, I have had to even lower the resolution to get it to run on my comp and it's murderous for trying to notice midgame grenades (against soviets it's better because they telegraph rather obviously).

I always find myself "baby-sitting" the oponnents grens, looking for that crouching German.

I also randomly start moving my soviet units when fighting the Ostheer. Its an unnecessary micro toll.
