I wonder how the middle area will play out with the massively increased building cover and lower infantry damage (Grenadiers,Conscripts at least). But i am excited =)

I'm gonna be a debbie downer and say that while more maps is great and all, I kind of feel disappointed in just reskins of old vCoH maps. How about making some new classics rather than shopping in old ones? It gives the impression the map design creativity was all spent on the original. I'd rather see CoH2 forge a path of its own rather than rely on nostalgia for its predecessor.

the problem is with vcoh maps is that they are designed for 1v1, not 1v1-2v2 like rest of coh2 1v1 maps. So, to small, german hmg-s and soviet 120mm mortals dominate.

Churches can heal themselves when soloing, as long as they have enough mana.

I still wonder why people liked Semois but well, more maps is good, I guess. I just hope there is a winter version without those stupid choke point rivers.
On the other hand, it is probably a lot better with fragile wooden buildings. I'm sure there is a reason this church looks like the wooden church on Moscow Outskirts and not like the massive stone one from ToW/campaign.
