After reading through the thread, I can confidently say that Guards are fine with just getting their CP raised to 3.
The nonsense about the OP talking about how their PTRS rifles are "comparable" to Pgren shreks shouldn't be something explained over the course of several pages.
Guards need a adjustment

The guard will still give units like the ober trouble after the patch, but the soviet will have to play a higher premium.
Less than now though, because of their new 3cp requirement. This means they'll have less time to vet up before Obers hit the field which will give the Obers a bit of a fairer fight.

It also opens up a bigger window for the 222 against Soviets. Before Guards would counter Axis LVs super early without investment, now the window for early vehicle rushes should be larger.

Which means 222 is not only going to be OP against brits and usf but also soviets. The care for consistency is quite moving tbh. Can't wait to play that patch
