Vet 5 Volk vs Vet 3 Shock
Vet 5 Volk vs Vet 3 Rifle fully armed
Vet 5 Volk vs Vet 3 Section with Bren and sniping LMG + Lee–Enfield.
Vet 5 Volk only win vs Vet 3 Penal and yet it is still a long shot sometime.
the rest like Paratrooper,Ranger,......Concript?Concript can't win right?Right?
Easier way to fix give OKW a doctrial that allow for a TigerI call in for the late game, need some sort of heavy tank that can stand their ground and support infantry.


Perhaps original idea of faction, but balance patches over the years have changed that.

Can someone plese tell me why does micro-ing OKW units is easier and less punishing?Especially when their techtree is weaker by comparison?.

OKW isn't strong in the lategame anymore.
- OKW popcap is way too high on some units
- vetted upgraded allied basic infantry are superior to OKW infantry, and compete with OKW elites
- allied tank destroyers are better than OKW tanks, combined with the infantry superiority
- weak indirect
- pretty meh doctrines

All combined to make OKW pretty underwhelming in the lategame. OKW is pretty much disadvantaged at everything useful in the lategame. It's really not that weak in each area, but they all add up to be pretty underwhelming. I look forward to the next patch, it really wont need to change much to fix it.

This is from 1v1 standpoint, I don't know about team games.


From 2v2 point of view imo the worst is the pop cap. In very close, even games allies just outnumber you in tanks and units, artylery. The elite units have really big pop cap, too big pop cap for what they do (after the nerfs in last patch)

OKW got 6-7 types of infantry. None of them is builder only or narrow specialist, all of them perform well in combat in different, but not specialist limited situations.
What makes you believe OKW was meant to be carried on the backs of volks alone?

Volks are axis cons, they will carry you through the early and early mid game, but they are not going to compete against much more expensive squads with much more expensive weapon upgrades, so use your own elite infantry.

Sure, but its not my argument, but what modders stated.
If you want OKW to become wehr with trucks, sorry but that isn't going to happen.
Work with what you have, because you're not getting anything else.


OKW wants Wehr MG42 (But wants to keep STG44 and 5x Man Squads)
Wehr wants 5x Man Grenadiers (but to keep MG42)

USF wants T0 M1919A6 and MG bunkers and Sherman/76 default : Germans, no! OP!
UKF wants T0 5x Man Squads and Assault Weapons (Semi Auto Rifles and Fire-on-the move LMGs Aka BARS)

Why is one okay, but not the other?

Panther is much more expensive than T34/76! It should never lose to one!
Grenadiers are much cheaper than USF Riflemen, Penals, Guards, Shock Troops, UKF Infantry Section.
Why is it that they want to dominate easily while still being much less expensive?

Wait volks lose to more expensive and/or heavy muni sink allied infantry? Damn who knew.

That the weakness right there,ober(if you upgrade with stg44 or LMG which is meh),fallshimjager too is supposed to be OKW elite yet they can't compete head on, that is if they even survived and doesn't got 1 shot by a lucky tank or in-direct rounds.
