request QOL or new ability for roketan in next patch

Id would like to see a QOL or new ability for roketan to have its retreat button replaced by reverse button but not forever. It can have 2 modes (with proper cooldown ofc) 1, normal mode : where it can retreat like now and 2 : reverse mode where it cannot retreat but can reverse like a normal pak.

soft reterating the roketan is possible but very difficult to execute cos 90% of the time instead of reversing the gun starts to rotate 180 degrees

So what do you guys think about such a feature.

I think a good QoL about the rak is making the crew not bunch up when it does its 180.

That sure helps certain 4 man infantry squads not to get wiped alright.

I am absolutely no fan of adding "abilities" that try to conceal the broken engine.

People who are not so deep inside the game (like 99.9% of the playerbase) won't get the point of this and rather be confused.

Also, as a fellow German "roketan" hurt me.

I really don't think the game engine comes into this, just unit design. And regardless, you're far more likely to get a simple unit ability than any game engine improvement. If Coh3 comes out, then you might have a chance.
