Hi guys. I just played a couple of games with USF, and I have to say that I´m so glad that Relic and dev team make Jacksons so OP. In a mediocre-good hands (yeah, maybe like myself), they are like unkillable. They have very good speed, dps, range, acceleration, health, moving accuracy, crew to repair and cap points... they have everything. It is so easy to play with a unit like that. Good job.

Yeah and they also made them so powerful that there is litteraly no reason to go for and m10 since they are actually more cost effective. Its ubsurd.

Its probably slightly overperforming

but honestly its the only thing keeping USF afloat atm.

Using Jacksons + M8 combo feels (because feelings matter in a WW2 game) like playing Eldar in Dawn of War 3:

Your mainline infantry would win every single engagement because they had the longest range and greater speed than any counterpart. Losing models was very difficult because they had a shield that had to be broken before they would even start dropping models & you could always disengage and had the range advantage + panic nades as a bonus.

Naturally the fun factor when playing against that was through the roof

Not really people just get used to weak jackson and now its something untarual for them that jackson actually kill tanks and can survive yolo panzer or panther i think its great that usf is now on good spot
jackson maybe need slighy turret rotation speed nerf and maybe thats it
On the other hand m10 is in the strange place now i think m10 should be in captain tier but not major where u pay little more fuel and u can get jackson
This is the same situation when u want hetzer but if u pay a little more fuel u can buy a panzer

buffing the jackson's hp was the lazy option but it works.
would have prefer to make the jackson more of a puma on steroid.

So you want USF to have a Puma on steroids as their main TD to deal with Axis heavies and mediums? That makes total sense. Fuck balance. Just make the Wehraboos win without braking a sweat.

Quite sure its called M10 Wolverine, but since Jackson was made into beefed up M10 already instead of having its own flavor pre changes and M10 being tied to tech, removing the only singular reason you'd ever want one, well...

most wehr player view the puma as one of their best unit, viable even into late game.

A "puma" that's designed for late game would be similarly useful.

jackson with better maneuverability, smoke, dodge and sight would make it unique instead of m10++

speaking of which.

without the sight, smoke, small size, or maneuverability to make up for the squishy.

USF doesn't have nondoc dive tanks capable of brawling it out with other tanks. Therefore the jackson has to fill two roles while most other factions have 2 tanks for the given role.

Either way if the jackson isnt good then USF wont be good.
