I've been editing games for quite some time and now i'm gonna start doing CoH2 in-game edits! Here's my first... (Not one of my best edits, honestly it's quite crappy)
-If the text on the right is too small, it says: The Royal Canadian Armed forces will send Canadian Riflemen instead of the British Infantry Sections. These units have less training than Infantry Sections, can build everything Royal Engineers can't, are more motivated in battle and have 6 man squads.
My idea is that those Commanders of the commonwealth (Canada, Australia, etc) would be rarer than British commanders, but would have different units(with different stats too!) and a tiny bit different models (Maybe even different passives and voice lines!).
New CoH2 Commander Edit!

From what I can see the idea is to allow you to essentially pick a sub-faction within a faction to get units specific to that sub-faction.
IE: Australian or Canadian infantry which differ from the normal infantry section, etc.

That's actually a good idea, however it would be a problem for like, the US and Germans.
The US really had no "sub-factions" nor did German, unless you count the German allies as sub-factions of course.

Well, the Allies could be framed more like SHAEF.
Axis powers could easily be reflected by the German branches of military or allied nations.

You could model the US via division w different units
IE rifles with M1919 and carbine in armored
