Have you seen VonIvan use them? They are very effective, if Overwatch offered more as a doctrine goliaths would see plenty of use.

because that everybody can hear them and u need much babysitting them, and you will lose them often without kill anything, because everybody can see them far from explosion radius..

how is sov demo better?
just use golitah like demo, simply as that.
because units will not auotmatically shot on them when detectet?
because they are cheaper?
because they are not a doc unit?
becasue not erveryone know that you build them , cause of very loud sound?
need no babysitting?

Yes, they are easy to detect, still they are harder to detect than new demos. And they can actually move which is kind of the whole big thing behind them.

I imagine you need to cloack them behind some view blocker, let enemie blob engange your troops, come from behind or kill retreating blobs.
Good and cool headed players will focus fire them and then either retreat or stay fighting your troops.
But others might just panic ... and them you make them BOOM!

Place them next to and behind buildings you suspect squads will jump inside.
Place them in cover right next to a road, have them facing the direction the enemy will come from, as their squads get close to detection range, make it charge towards them, giving the least possible amount of time for opponent to kill it first or hit retreat.
Like with everything, helps if you cause distractions with other things to overload opponents micro... (this is a critical thing overlooked so hard by lower players - this is how higher players HAVE to defeat each other).
I have always really wanted to combine Ost smoke plane with goliaths (team game), for an invisible goliath charge! Really need to give this a try!

You can try, but I think it will just prompt a retreat. Plane and smoke is more than enough to realise that something fishy is going to happen there and goliath engine sound is a good reason to push the escape button.
As for goliath usages I think its best used for flanking team weapons becouse neither can they fire back nor retreat in time. I can also imagine goliaths being successfuly used against self repairing soviet and british tanks. They can't move and their weapons are disabled.
